Dr. Nusbaum saved my life. I had a band by another surgeon, which erroded into my stomach. I went to a gastric doctor and he put a camera into my stomach and saw the band. I ended up in the emergency room with a leak in my stomach and what they called free air. The pain was so bad that I thought I would die. I went to Overlook hospital ER and the Bariatric surgeons refused to operate on me. So they emergently took me on transfer to Morristown Memorial where the Chief of Bariatrics- Dr. Nusbaum agreed to take care of me. I have no doubt that he saved my life. I am so angry with Overlook hospital and so grateful to Dr. Nusbaum. I wanted to sue Overlook and Dr. Goyal but Dr. Nusbaum asked me not to. I can't say enough about how caring and compasionate Dr. Nusbaum is... I just love him!
