She's my granddaughter's pediatrician. My daughter always raves about her, but this was the first time I took the baby in myself. Things have changed since I was little. Short wait time, clean/fun waiting room, wonderful personality!
Friendly doctor. I like that she's flexible and easy going about parenting. SHe's not rigid about doing things one way, but lets me kind of find a good balance.
After a bad experience at PAMF (not the doctors, but the billing practices) and just sick of the huge corporation problem, I tried Dr. Rad at the suggestion of my OB. I have a 9 year old son and was unsure if he'd respond to a new Ped (not that we got to see our regular ped at PAMF anyways). But Dr. Rad was great. She knew how to connect with him and really asked the kinds of questions I've not heard from a doctor before. I think it was because she had a little more time to give him than I've seen at bigger offices. The best is that she and her staff Michelle remember us. When there's a problem, I just call with my name and she knows what I'm talking about. No HUGE departments and all these transfers and explaining my problem 10 times. It's also much cheaper, since we have a high deductible plan. It makes me feel guilty seeing her paid less than half what Aetna was paying PAMF....
