Changed denists because a friend said that Dr Nakashima was very good. However, my experience since going to him has been very discouraging. I had a cap that became loose and after three times of going back to redo, it stayed on. More significantly, he did not give me options for certain dental work and $3500 later realized that the work was unnecassary and in fact, the poor job soon after neccesitated a root canal. He is very nice with friendly staff, but dental skills and focus on getting the most money from his patients is dishearening. With my tail between my legs, i plan on going back to my old dentist and ask if he will consider taking me back as a patient.
I recently switched dentists after wanting a second opinion on several teeth that supposedly needed "major work" according to my prior dentist.
I was able to get a next day appointment with Dr. Nakashima and after reviewing my x-rays and doing a dental exam he proposed a alternative comprehensive dental plan which ended up saving me about $1400 over 2 years.
It's been 4 years since, I have no cavities and really white teeth! I wholeheartedly recommend Doctor Nakashima to all my friends and family.
