I was referred to this dr because I was a young teenage girl who was dancing ballet 5x/wk and had developed joint pains among other symptoms that made it hard to even walk. It was a fast decline. I was scared and confused and looking for answers. This dr did tests and came into the room and said "well all the tests are normal, so you can go". After looking a bit confused at my complete dismissal and not even an introduction (this was my first time even seeing her) she further told me that maybe it was Fibromyalgia and all that was, was a psychological disorder anyways so maybe I should see a psychologist. (which is offensive to those I know who DO have that) She seemed annoyed with me. As if I was a bother to her. Someone who had spent a good deal of money to see this lady. She spoke to me like I was inferior and stupid. I've never in my life encountered a doctor who was so heartless. Sometimes I think about sending her a letter and telling her that I was later diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, a hypermobile joint disorder(hence the pain), and a metabolic disorder which created the perfect storm to make my body go downhill so fast. That it wasn't all in my head as she said.. and maybe she shouldn't judge things she knows nothing about. I don't care that her tests showed my issues were not in her level of expertise(she could have kindly said she was sorry she couldn't help me).... I care about the way she spoke to me and the assumptions she made.

I was having some complications from the meds that she put me on. I called to talk to the nurse or doctor, she was busy. I called back 2 hours later, explaining what was going on, she was still too busy. I ended up in the ER Tuesday morning with heart & other complications. Had every heart test. Wednesday, I was released by the heart doctor after stating that my heart was healthy & that maybe my dosage was too high and it would be best if she would try me on something different. He didn't want me to take the meds. After leaving the hospital, I went to Dr. Mohandas's office. I explained everything the receptionist. The doc & nurse was too busy and said that I would have to make an appointment to talk to anyone which was 5 days away. The doctor informed the receptionist for me to continue taking the meds and make an appointment. I can't believe she would have me continue meds that were the cause of the heart problems & other complications without evaluating me or looking at my results that the heart doctor had faxed over. I did my job by paying her for these expensive visits why couldn't she have been more concerned & do her job. How would she feel if I didn't pay her? Probably the same way I felt when she didn't care enough to treat me when I really needed it.
