I have been going to see Dr. Stieg's office for close to four years now. I have RSD, which is very painful and I have been to several other pain management doctors since my diagnosis of RSD/CRPS stage 2. All the other doctors I have seen were either completely ignorant of my condition and didn't understand my diagnosis; or treated me like a drug seeker. When I first went in to see Dr. Stieg he spoke to me and asked me about my concerns and was educated on my condition. He was concerned for my issue and the fact that I had no insurance and was paying for all my medical myself. So he prescribed me a pain medication that was very inexpensive ($36/mo!) I was seen by Dr. Stieg himself for the first year once a month and then as his practice grew larger, I started to be treated by his associate Dr. Kinney. She is absolutely wonderful. She cares about my welfare. I will continue to go to Dr. Stieg's office for as long as I can. I have never met doctors like these. I absolutely recommend Dr. Stieg and his associates, Dr. Kinney and Dr. Daisy! Even his staff his awesome! Absolutely the BEST!!!

Dr Steig is a very good Doctor. Unfortunatley he has been saddled with the undaunting task of trying to figure out who's really in pain, and who's looking for drugs or a way out of work, through the workers comp system.
Although he is never on time with his appointments, his experience and knowledge, make him worth the wait (most times). Although forgetful and on the edge of retirement, he is still the "go to guy" when it comes to educated answers in dealing with pain management. He's not afraid to admit when it's over his head, or when he thinks other Drs. are not up to snuff. He's not a "workers comp whore" as are so many of the docs I'd been sent to after my injury.

If not for the advices of Dr steig, my very complicated and rare injury may have never been found, and due to the extreme misunderstanding of my injury, may have led me to end my own life a long time ago
.
Although when I met him, I was wary of him, over the 6 years of care with him, I realized what a good dr. he is, and attribute my well being to his knowing when to take charge, or step aside and let specialists do their job.

Smart man! If you're in pain, he's your man.

I simply love Dr. Stieg. Not sure why the other reviews are so bad. I have been seeing this doctor for over a year now and he is the best one I have ever had in the almost 20 years I have had extreme back pain and migraines. He is a specialist and does not appreciate being treated like a primary care doctor. He is also an addiction specialist. He has helped me in so many ways I cannot list them all here. I understand why he wants people on the Subutex/Suboxone. Suboxone is doing wonders for me. I no longer crave the high I got from the percocets. I can now enjoy my life with a lot lower amount of pai than I had previously. When I first say Dr. Stieg, my pain was a constant 8 to what felt like 25 out of 10. Now, the average is maybe a 3. Sometimes, I am almost pain free. I would recommend this Dr. to everyone. He is a godsend.

I am Writing this because I was sent to this place for 6 weeks and I think the whole place was a big joke and a waste of my time and my families time. They lied to me about several things such as my medicine they put me on, by telling me i couldn't take narcotics with it for my pain. When I returned home my regular doctor put me back on my old medication because the stuff I was on for 6 weeks wasn't helping and i am very angry and I think it was very inhumane to make me suffer needlessly. I have received several back surgeries in a short time and I dont need the extra pain and suffering added to my Life.
