Dr Powell's office is the Best in Asheville,and anywhere I have ever been.NO waiting and very good care.I had two fillings (composite) done today and there's NO PAIN 5 hours later,I am very excited about getting the rest of my teeth done at this office.I have never been treated so kind in any doctors office and they listened to my fears and what I had to say.I have an rational fear of dentist due to a "childhood memory" and I have feared dentist all my life and generally try to avoid them as much as possible,not only was he generous enough to discuss that issue with me him and his staff generally felt for me and with understanding and compassion made my visit as painless and possible.I thank you for your wonderful kindness.Excellent quality.

From my first visit to Dr Powell's, I was impressed with the entire experience. It was especially refreshing to work with a dentist that listened to my needs and put together my oral care plan with me without pressure or time lines. I also appreciated the education on preventive care for my teeth and gum's. I would recommend Dr Powell to anyone looking for quality dental care with a dentist who takes your needs into consideration.

Dr. Powell is the best dentist in Asheville, hands down! I have gone to him for 36 years and due to the excellent care I have received, I have never had one cavity, never had a root canal, never had a crown. He runs a state of the art practice and is extremely knowledgable. He does not charge much more than other dentists, and in my opinion...YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET! If you want to go to someone who really knows what good dentistry is and who has your best interest in mind, then don't waste your time on anyone else but Dr. Powell!!! I have friends who have gone to other dentists in town, paid very little for their dentistry, and in the end, ended up with rotten teeth because their dentist didn't know decay from a hershey kiss!! Trust me, if you don't go to Dr. Powell, you will end up paying MUCH more in the end!!!!

I just had my first appointment at Asheville Dental Care. I had no idea that a dental apointment was supposed to be like that. I got a tour of the office (which was really interesting) introduced to everyone. Most important I really got a chance to talk to Dr. Powell - he is really nice, knowledgeable and fun to talk with!

Dr. Powell's office is beautiful, clean, and state of the art. He is a very thorough, careful, and detail oriented dentist. He is very professional and has brand new equipment and office space. He makes "crowns" in his office so it's a one visit appointment instead of the old 2 visit crowns. His staff is very accomodating and friendly. I've been going to him for years and think he's the best!!!
