I could not say enough good things about Dr. Han and her staff! I had to find a new dr because of insurance purposes and I was skeptical on seeing Dr. Han because of these yelp reviews but I decided to give her a shot and I'm so glad I did! The first time I only waited 20 mins to see her. The second time she ended up getting called into emergency surgery and we waited for over an hour but I wasn't upset because if it was me needing a c section on the spot I'd want her to be there for me! Then when we found out my baby stopped growing she was very sweet answering my questions and took her time with me. The last time I went she got called out again and I got there before they could call me so I saw Dr. Medrano and for a girl who doesnt prefer a male obgyn he was very good as well! I had to have a d&c because my miscarriage wasn't happening naturally and once again she was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable in such a hard time for me. The location is great in Burbank by the hospital and walking distance from the labs where you have to get blood drawn and there is a nice big parking structure with a max of $8 which is great compared to $14 I was paying in Beverly Hills! The staff was super helpful with everything I needed and they were all very friendly! I am very happy with Dr. Han and if you are looking for a new obgyn try her out!

Coming from a non-emotional, non-pregnant non-chatty person (referring to the absurd review above) I am not going back there. She is, from what I can tell, a skilled physician because my referred surgery went well. But a good "doctor"? Not for me. Like everyone said, she is always in a huge rush. Today she walked out of the room before I was even done with questions. My mouth fell open. Despite her giant grin, she seemed annoyed I even had any questions. Seemed like she just wanted to remove my stitches and move on. She never even called me with blood results, I had to call a month later to ask. I want to understand my problems. Simple.
Her staff are rude, impatient and barely communicative. They don't call back when they say they will (weeks go by). They didn't even give me some very important instructions before surgery- thank goodness the hospital caught this in me pre-screen call. Not going back there. I'll stick with my GP who actually seems to care about me. If you want a cattle call, or if you just need something done by someone who won't botch it up, this one's for you. Want someone to help you and talk to you about a complicated and elusive problem? Use the internet.

I have been to Dr. Han for two annual visits, one unexpected visits and two additional visits for Gaurdasil vaccine over the past two years. Only ONCE did I wait under an hour, twice I waited 30 minutes then was told she would not be there for a number of hours and I would need to reschedule. Already late for work I had to also plan to be late two days later. All I needed was a vaccine which can be done if any doctor is in the office, for her to make money she had to be there so they were not allowed to call in a back up to simply sign off on the vaccine, which of course was administered by a nurse on another visit when Dr. Han simply walked in and out of the office. On my very first visit to Han for my pap she literally told me she did not need to know my medical history - a medical history mind you that includes a biopsy of my cervix. Most recently I went in to get a culture done. It took a full week for them to get results, she told me they would call if something came up. No call. Several days later a letter without a diagnosis telling me to call with pharm#. I have called 5 times and left messages with people 5 times, it has been 3 days and they still have not even called my pharmacy! I just called AGAIN at 12PM and got the lunch message - you know the one that says they are on lunch from 1230 to 2 - there is no option to leave a voicemail. It has been two weeks since the culture so today my results could be totally different. My old doctor in FL would do a culture and just look at it in house and write an RX when needed, she would also call even if my pap was clear and she was a nurse practitioner. I tried to be patient with Dr. Han but now I agree with the other person that she does not seem to care about actually TREATING the patient, only cashing in on them. I am going to switch to a Dr in LA - the office is so bad I am willing to drive an extra hour in traffic to NOT have to go to her again.

Dr. Han was recommended to me when we first moved here from NYC and I have been more than pleased with her care. She delivered the second 2 of our 4 children. The 2nd birth was quite frightening for me. It was a very difficult labor/birth due to the positioning of my daughter, and later I found out that the cord was wrapped around her neck. They had to turn off my epidural (ugh) so that I could push as hard as I could and as fast as I could to get the baby out fast. I have never been so afraid in my life and Dr Han was as cool as ever. It was very comforting to me to have her, she moved and acted like a master. The nurses at the hospital loved and respected her, I could tell. If you are looking for a doctor to coddle you, Dr Han is not the doctor for you. She is way too busy. But she is a pro and she will not blow you off if you have real concerns and questions. You may wait in her office, but she is often called out for emergency surgeries or deliveries. But I much rather waiting for the best than settling for someone who might spend more time with me, make me wait less, but not be as good a doctor.

Dr. Han is awesome! I drove 1 hour each way just to see her. She delivered our babies. We totally trust her. She has a lot of patients and yes, she is busy. However, she is very nice and always protects you.

I know many women have hormones that go bonkers during pregnancy, and it certainly sounds as if that might be the case with many of the people who've left negative comments here. Please do not be swayed by the negativity! Consider that most people only go out of their way to leave feedback on these types of sites when they're really unhappy, not when the service or product is great.

Dr. Han is a great doctor. Yes, there are times I've had to wait to see her. At times those waits were longer than I really wanted them to be. However, when she's behind or has to reschedule, it's because she's delivering babies, not out getting her nails done!

You won't feel so concerned about other patients waiting when it's your turn to deliver! You'll be glad she's delivering your baby herself and not leaving it to some other partner you've never met before.

Dr. Han delivered both my children, performed a D&C after a miscarriage and has done annual exams on me for over 7 years. I had high blood pressure during my first pregnancy and she totally took care of me and made sure both my daughter and I were fine every step of the way. My son was delivered via emergency C-section due to a clot that formed in the umbilical cord at 40 weeks. I was due the next day and was scheduled to be induced (also due to high blood pressure related issues). When I called her concerned that he wasn't kicking enough, and I felt like something was wrong, she didn't tell me to hold on till the next day. She told me to go admit myself "now" and when she was advised by the nurses that something was amiss with my son's heartbeat, she was there in a flash. Her immediate, unquestioning response saved my son's life. Had there been the delay of another hour, he might not have made it. If I had waited a day, it would have been too late.

She also was cool headed and calm, without being trite. She let me know exactly was was happening, what the plan of action was and kept me informed as we prepared for surgery. She kept assuring me that my son would be just fine, not to panic or worry, just to focus on what we had to do next. In short, she kept both me and my husband from falling apart.

She was amazing through both my pregnancies and deliveries. AMAZING. She's knowledgeable, friendly, confident and she has small hands! And, she's a woman and mother, so she knows what it's like and what is normal and what's not.

For those who need extra coddling during their pregnancy and chose to leave Dr. Han, I hope that you have no complications and textbook perfect pregnancies and deliveries. I've found that it's the not so great doctors that often have the friendliest beside manner and the time to spend shooting the breeze, because they don't have that many patients waiting to begin with. Good luck to you if that's the case.

As for her being "too fast"... I like my PAPs done quickly and painlessly. I don't want idle chit chat while everything is hanging out. When she was in the old office that she shared with 2 other doctors, yes, her staff was not the best, but they were in very tight quarters and working for 3 doctors, not just one. Things are way better now that she has her own (very nice) offices.

I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Han. And for the record, it took me 5 OB/GYNs before I found her, and she is by far the best I have encountered. Judging from the number of letters, pictures and cards she has from happy patients, I know I'm not the only one.

I was referred to Dr. Han by my primary doctor. I must say I love my primary doctor, but Dr. Han is HORRIBLE! Her staff is rude, waiting period is too long, Dr. Han is rude herself. She probably spend 2-3 minutes with me as a first time patient! She answered only one of the questions and ignored the rest. She had a grin on her face the whole time. She seemed that she was in a hurry, rushed through everything. I came out feeling horrible. When I left my urine sample in the restroom, there were half a dozen othes piled up. Not sure if she is short staffed? Aren't doctor's supposed to make you feel better? Then she messed up my prescription. I called twice and left mesages for her to get my results. And as of today, haven't heard back. I will never ever go back there again. It's really sad because I was looking for a good ob-gyn close to home since I just moved, but Dr.Han is for sure not the doctor I want to be under the care of. She is careless and rude.

I begrudgingly returned a second time to see Dr HAn. For years I saw another doctor, who unfortunately retired. He was so good. This was the worst doctor experience of my life. They made me cry! Do not ever go here. Her staff is cruel and uncaring, much like her. i told her my problem was ruining my life and she stared at me and walked away. BAD NEWS! She doesn't deserve to be a physician!

I don't know Dr. Han but I do know "Doctor" Dawn Cashie, unfortunately. She is not only a lousy doctor, she's a nightmare of a human being. Like the comments of others here, we waited forever and when we met her for the first time, she said nothing upon entering the room, didn't even acknowledge my husband, and had the crappiest attitude I've ever seen from a doctor, every time we saw her. It was my first pregnancy and she never mentioned the MAJOR necessity of amniotic and chromosomal testing (to check for abnormalities.) Repeat - she never even brought it up. After numerous mistakes such as this, we finally fired her, and when we went into her office, she had the nerve to say "I can't be your doctor anymore" even though she already knew that we had switched doctors because we were so unhappy with her! Talk about arrogant and delusional. She is apparently extremely unhappy in her personal life and is letting it poison her professional life. She is a miserable, creepy woman. I wish someone had written a review like this before we went to her. I hope it helps someone else avoid her. There are a few nice people on her staff but they always seem embarrassed to be working for Cashie, and they should be. However, it took her staff forever to transfer our papers and they argued about everything we needed. Someone should tell Cashie that when you act like a miserable slug, people lose confidence in you professionally. Hopefully, she'll read this, but probably not since she obviously doesn't give a damn about her patients.

I went to Dr. Han, because she delivered my friends baby. I had miscarried a few years back, and found out I was pregnant. As soon as I found out I made an appointment, fearing that I'd MC again. And the staff told me, that Dr. Han won't see anyone under 6 weeks! It was horrible having to wait. I went to my appointment when i should have been "6 weeks" only to be told that I was only 2 weeks. I knew something was wrong right away! I should have been 6 weeks, if she bothered to have read my chart she would have known something was not right. Needless to say, I miscarried the next week, and it was tough getting an "emergency appointment." The two times I went to see her I had to wait 2 hours! And my appointments only lasted 5 min. max. I will not see her again!

I first wasn't sure about Dr. Han because I was a nervous pregnant woman. I had one child already with the help of another OBGYN. Dr. Han may not say things in the way you want to hear them, but she is a great doctor I feel. She delivered my daughter and I had missed my epidural. I was petrified. She was excellent. I could feel that she was helping my body relax, in the way she delivered my baby. She put my fears to ease, (the best she could!) and I healed in no time. SUCH a contrast to my first delivery. I recommend her highly.

I'm frankly surprised by all the negative feedback. I am petrified of doctors in general, but Dr. Han was just what the doctor ordered. She is highly intelligent, witty and won't let me over-analyze or let my imagination get carried away with medical myths and false imfo. With my first pregnancy I tought I had miscarried and went to the ER, they confirmed there was no visible embryo/fetus. I had a follow up exam with Dr. han and her finding were consistent with the ER, an undeveloped yoke sack and scheduled me for a D&C. I had some questions and went in to her office on a saturday to sign a consent and ask some more questions about the procedure. Dr. Han was looking over my tests again and decided that she wasn't satisfied with the conclusion both the ER and her ultrasound yielded as my hormone levels had risen. Right then and there she took me and did another ultrasound. There he was my son his little heart beating and everything...A doctor who question results and takes a second look is more than a good doctor, they are a life saver, literally. I had high blood pressure throughout my pregnancy and Dr. Han made sure that I saw a specialist to monitor the baby with 3-d ultrasounds. He was delivered 6 days early and was perfect. I had similar experiences with both my other children which Dr. Han delivered. She even did the circumsision on my son and it was a great job, no ill effects and it healed very quickly. She is great and I would want her to deliver more children of mine if I could afford to have them.

As I am scared and get freaked out easily I was always reading things on the internet and fearing the worst, Dr. Han would always chide me for reading that stuff and make sure she explained the symptoms carefully and thoroughly. She is just what I needed to calm my fears and keep me feeling assured.

She needs to answer questions herself not the nurse!! The nurse does not have all the answers. Particularly if it is something seriuous.

I was dreading my visit to Dr. Han after reading all the reviews. Here is what i discovered. The staff was outstanding-very nice and courteous. I didnt have to wait for my appt. for weeks- very easy to schedule and they work with your schedule. Dr. Han was very nice- the pap smear was the best one I had. She did an ultrasound (I am 4 weeks pregnant) and reassured me that she tries to deliver all her patients' babies. Yes, the visit was quick, but you are not there to discuss your life problems. If you need extensive conversations-go see a shrink. My experience was great; hopefully it will continue to be great.

I have been a patient of Dr. Han's for 10 years. She has performed several surgeries, as well as my c-section. She did an excellent job every time. Everyone complains about the wait time on here- that's because Dr. Han is so GOOD. Her manner can be abrupt, but that is usually because she has just been paged to go perform an emergency delivery. (The fact that she is the go to person for such matters should tell you something.) She has always answered any questions I have had with intelligent, informed responses. She has also gone out of her way to help me. When we found out my 10 week old pregnancy had ended, she immediately scheduled a D&C for me. It was 6:30pm on a Friday night. Perhaps people who don't like her need a little more coddling. I have always found her to be kind, compassionate, and intelligent. Her front office staff is slow, but she and her nurses are excellent.

I'm not a mother or expecting to become one, so I guess my expectations may be wildly different from most of the other reviewers. I was very pleased with Dr. Han. I found her bedside manner to very professional and thorough. I believe this was the first pap smear I've ever had done by a woman and it was over before I knew it started! I have had more than one male doctor insert the speculum and then walk across the room with the speculum hanging from me while they search for the things they need for the exam! I found her waiting room very spacious and clean and attractive. The nurses were great. The front office staff, however, do seem kind of lame.

We always have to wait 45 minutes. She is always in a rush and seems very disorganized . It seems that she does not do any review of your file prior to seeing you. I know this because she never has your labs or pertinent information from the perinatologist when she is seeing you for her typical 2 minute appointment. In her field of work this is negligent and in some cases be dangerous to mom and baby.. We always leave her office frustrated. Poor bedside manners. That is just my opinion and have been in the Emergency medical field for 15 years.

Where do I begin, to tell a story of how cold the doctor is. I went into her office on appointed time and after waiting 45min to 1 hour, she was able to see my wife. After 3 minutes later, my wife walked out of the office and she told me that the doctor was not very approachable: she did not spend an extra minute to address any concernes or questions; instead, she only wrote in her paper and said 'go get a blood test.' I will not take my wife back to this doctor again, she seems uncarring.

After reading so many comments I was horrified and was worried, but went there as was not having time to choose any other near my area, so my experience with the staff was good, if not excellent. and with Dr she seems to be knowledgeable but lacks patience, which would make better likable Dr. so wish she reads here and improve it and increase her clientele.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Han. She can seem very dismissive however, I can appreciate a doctor who doesn't shriek and gasp at every worry I present to her. She was able to identify and help resolve a very serious situation during the delivery of my daughter. As long as she is there when there really is a problem...that's all I need. Yes, the wait is long. YES, her staff consists of a bunch of idiots...which is probably the reason for the wait. But she isn't a horrible doctor by any means. She just needs to restaff with people that don't think being rude is being professional.

It is true that Dr Han's staff is unprofessional and although the doctor comes off a little guarded it doesn't take away from her being an efficient doctor. Doctor Han had to perform a cerclage on me 3 years ago when my cervix started to dilate in my 3rd month of pregnancy. A cerclage is a very risky procedure where my bag could have burst during the procedure. I am blessed with a healthy son and I thank God for Dr Han's steady hand that made my pregnancy a successful one. I hope she takes the steps necessary to improve the conduct of her staff so that they could represent her in a better light.

After reading all this, I just wanted to chime in. I just got a bill from Dr. Han's office for my son's circumcision. This was really amazing to me, since I have never met Dr. Han OR any of the doctors in her office, and my son is NOT circumcised. I have no idea how they even got my information. I've never seen them. But after reading all these horrible reviews, I'm going to call my HMO and report them. I mean, it's one thing to get mistreated if you choose to go to this doctor, but she's sending me a mistaken bill and I've never laid eyes on her. When I called, the billing department woman explained that she saw many bills that didn't go out in her computer, so she started sending them. She said that even though Dr. Han's name was on the bill, Dr. Cashie had performed the operation. So I had to repeat, "There was no operation. My son is not circumcised, and I've never even heard of Dr. Cashie." WTF?

I saw Dr. Han three years ago and then couldn't afford to go again until this year. In our meeting she had to do a biopsy and said if something was not right, she would call me, otherwise...So three years later, when finances were better, and not having a good feeling about Dr. Han, I decided to switch doctors and called to have my records transferred to the new doctor. Dr. Han's office said they couldn't release the records because they HADN'T GOTTEN MY TEST RESULTS BACK YET!!! Remember this is three years later!! In them finally obtaining my records and test results I had them transferred to the new doctor and in my appointment with her, found out that the symptoms I had (that Dr. Han said were just normal with menopause) were so severe now that I would have to go extensive treatment to right this wrong. This new doctor was wonderful and I'm feeling better, but if you have had this kind of experience with Dr. Han as well, PLEASE report her, as I did, to The Medical Board of California, Dept. of Consumer Affairs.

The staff ignores you when you walk in! The visit was so brief I asked a lot of questions, out of about 12 questions, 1 was answered! I don't feel like the physical was even thorough at all! She did everything without telling me what she was doing! I will never go back to her! I will definitely find another doctor! Did I even mention how rude the staff was?!?!?! The only nice person there was the girl who "prepped" me. I don't know her name, long straight black hair, she was pretty much the only friendly one!

I had a horrible experience when I went to this office. I wanted to cry as well. I had had a miscarriage and the receptionist asked me why I was there. Mind you there are many pregnant woman, and I whispered that I was there for a follow-up due to a miscarriage. The receptionist loudly said "You had a miscarriage and I was fully emotional and embarrassed I said "yes." Besides being abrupt with me on other issues this was the one that made me change my OB/GYNECOLOGIST. Also, I waited to see my doctor for the first time 45mins. or more with an appointment and she didn't even see me for 10 minutes. This wasn't very good service.

I had an unforgettably horrible experience with Dr. Han. Her office staff made me cry, they were so rude. I waited over two hours to see her both times I was there, which was extremely stressful as the waiting room was over capacity and some of the time was spent waiting lined up down the hall. When I did see her, she was dismissive, rude, glib and never once met my eyes. I was sure I was pregnant or something was wrong hormonally - she blew me off after a negative test. In the end, I apparently had had a fetal demise that she never told me about, even after seeing the ultrasound results! She put the info in my file, but never said a word to be about it and I didn't learn I'd had a missed miscarriage until my new doctor went through the records Dr. Han's had transferred over and she read it aloud, thinking I already knew. I just about fainted.

How would you like hearing you'd been pregnant after all, that you weren't crazy the way they made you feel, and that the baby had died but no one told you? If you want to feel that way, go see Dr. Han and her brilliant staff.

I went in for a pap smear, Dr. Han was out on delivery, so I saw the blonde. She was so nice, but couldn't find my records. She had to wing it. They were moving, so everything was a bit of a mess, she said. So... Now I am having all kinds of problems with getting my BC prescription filled. It's as if I was never there. She didn't give me a new prescription, which I didn't think too much about. I thought they wold just apply it with a call in from the pharmacy. Nope. Been having problems for months and this has gotten me really out of whack on my cycle.. not being able to get my prescription filled without a call in to their office. I think I am going to have to go in somewhere else and get another pap smear, even though it hasn't been a year. I don't want to go back there. They are a big mess. Also... even though Dr. Han is my OBGYN.. I think I have only seen her once in 4 years. She is never there.

Update: I tried to call and straighten this out with the office, but keep getting blown off and asked to call back. Really unhelpful. I keep getting voice recordings now. This forced me to call my insurance to find out the last time they were billed for a visit. It was long enough for me to know that the office has no record of me being in. I am just switching and going to my new found primary doctor who can do annuals. I don't even want to deal with these people.

I went for my annual gynecological exam with Dr. Han for the first time as I am new to the area. I waited for 45 minutes in the exam room for Dr. Han. When she finally came in the room she rushed through a very cursory exam in less than 5 minutes. She didn't ask me if I had any questions and I hardly had a chance to get a word in edgewise because she rushed out of the exam room so quickly. There were hoards of people waiting to see her in the waiting room and it really does feel like they rush patients in and out as quickly as they possibly can. This was the most impersonal and uncaring doctor visit I have experienced. I was left with several unanswered questions.

I'm not pregnant but I do go for my annual and I've been too lazy to switch but am going to now...every time I go there it is not a pleasant experience. There is a very long wait. I've noticed that a couple of the chairs in the wait room have disgusting pee stains on them, the disposable needle cans are sitting in the hallway. Most disturbing: I used the bathroom once to find a tray in there of about 12 urine samples - just sitting there unattended in a public bathroom! My doctor is Samantha Han and I don't think I've seen her once. It's always a different nurse practitioner which is fine (especially from reading the reviews) but now I think I'd prefer to always have someone consistently and who knows me. The office honestly just seems like they're overbooked. It's quantity for them, not quality.

I loved Dr Samamtha Han, she is an amazing woman. He office is small and the wait can be very long. I was 18 when I first went to her when I was pregnant and I loved every minute I spent with Dr Han. Her staff is rude and lazy but other than that she is a great Dr. I do plan on going back to her if she is still excepting paitents.

Dr. Han and office staff are utterly unprofessional. During my first and only visit, she seemed uncaring and refused to order any diagnostic tests other than pap smear. I work in health care and know what I'm talking about. My primary care doctor was likewise frustrated and felt that she just "doesn't care" and strongly suggested that I should switch to another OB right away. I did just that and found an excellent OB-GYN who requested a copy of my pap smear. It took multiple number of calls to get the result. And they charged me $35 dollars for one piece of paper!!! It's a big rip-off, don't you think? Interestingly, they won't accept any forms of payment other than CASH and they won't mail or fax it to me. I had to take time off work and drive to their office to pick it up personally. They never told me until I got there that I had the option of requesting to fax it directly to my doctor at no cost. When I did request that, Tanya said it is too late. (????)There is just no excuse to this office's incompetence especially when people's health and lives are at stake.

I saw Dr Han in August 08 and it will be the last time. This visit she was a little more personable than previous times but I still came away with questions unanswered and feeling like the long wait in the crowded waiting area was not worth the trouble. I needed to know my test results and I left 8 messages in a week period with her staff indicating at least 3 times the urgency of my request. Luckily I had the test result sent to my primary care physician who was able to go over the results. A month after I had first requested my results I suddenly received at 730pm one evening a call from Dr Han telling me that she was returning my call! I told her that my primary care had helped me and I hung up.

My HMO dictated that I see Dr. Han after her partner, Dr. Alviar left. It's been horrendous. That office staff is completely incompetant, barely understands English, is rude and unhelpful. Loads of pregnant ladies are always sitting on the floor in the hallway, sometimes literally sitting on the toxic waste drop off box on the floor. Ridiculous. When you finally do see Dr. Han, she's brief, unaffected, and sterile. She seems to knwo what she's talking about, but if you need any kind of smile or acknowlegement of any kind from your doctor, this is the wrong one. Preganancy and gynecology are emotional times. The last thing you want is for doctors visits to go like they do at Dr. Han's office. Look elsewhere.

Hello all, as a woman, you always want a doctor who cares about you, your family, and your health and well-being. Dr. Cashie treated me like royalty from the beginning to end. From the moment I walked in her office we both made a decision together about my condition and she supported my decision completely. I trusted her competence, knowledge and experience. She was warm, informative, and always gave me my own individual time in her office. I even brought my boyfriend in the office with me thu the entire process and she talked to us both, not just me. She made him feel welcomed. When it came to surgery, the hospital had my insurance mixed up, the approval and they held me up for hours getting verification for the surgery, but Dr. Cashie stayed patiently and waited, although she was upset, she explained, I was important and that the clerks in her office also did not do the paperwork properly so she understood and she was going to make it happen as soon as possible. And that she did. When paperwork was done, and I could be reeled in to start the operation, she helped me and she was there waiting, talked to my boyfriend, told him how long she would take, gave him my belongings, and told him she would take good care of me. And then again, that she did. As I was going under, her presence, made me feel safe. When I woke up in my room, my boyfriend next to me, told me, she came and got him when the surgery was over, and had him help transport me with the orderly??s to my room. Ladies, it don??t get no better than that. Even the visits to the hospital, she stayed on the nurses to make sure they did what they were supposed to. The only thing she didn??t like is that she wished I was at the Hospital closer to her instead of Glendale Adventist, she said I would have gotten better treatment, and she could of visited me more often. Just when I thought she was already doing too much. Lastly, to remove my staples and do check ups, again unbelievable service. She got me thru a mental middle age crisis and brought me back to health. So Ladies if you are with a doctor as I see mentioned in some of these comments, and they don??t treat you the way you should be treated, use your brain, and move on. You are spending good money for healthcare, why go to a doctor that treats you like most men do?lol. If the doctor has no respect for you, your body, your expenses, and just simply is cold, mean, and too busy to understand you and your life and the treatment you need, than FIRE HER ASS!. If you allow it, than you deserve it!
To Dr. Dawn A. Cashie, you are the best! And I will soon be having my daughter be your patient. Good Luck to All and remember, you have earned the right as a woman to have a good doctor. I only had to experience Dr. Han, once when Dr. Cashie was unavailable and that 5 minutes of a checkup was enough for me, my dad always said, if you can??t say something nice..things my lips are sealed.

I have only had one visit with Dr. Han. The wait was very long and there is very little waiting room space for all the patients. So it is not uncommon to see pregnant women sitting in the hallway waiting to be called.

The visit with Dr. Han herself was ok. She seems to have a decent bedside manner, although she seemed too busy to spend more than 5 minutes with me. The staff aren't warm and friendly, but that seems to be the result of being so overbooked with patients.

I reached my point of frustration after attempting to contact Dr. Han to discuss some test results that raised cause for concern. Unfortunately I missed Dr. Han's phone call. I tried to reach her for a week and left numerous messages with the receptionist.

Dr. Han never called back. In fact, she ended up going out of town for vacation and had one of her colleagues make the phone call for her. It ended up being a 5 minute phone call that Dr. Han could've made herself if she cared to carve out the time!!

Completely frustrating! I am switching doctors!!

Pros: none

Cons: inattentive doctor, rude staff, extremely filthy waiting area

I reached my point of frustration after I had my first trimester combined screening. The results showed some reason for concern. The other doctor that did the screening was very patient and thorough in explaining the results with me over the phone. He then recommended that I speak with Dr. Han about the results.

Unfortunately I missed Dr. Han's phone call. I tried to reach her for a week and left numerous messages with the receptionist. Dr. Han NEVER called back. I ended up speaking with one of her colleagues. The information relayed by her colleague was brief and would only have taken Dr. Han 5 minutes to speak with me over the phone. Completely frustrating! I am switching doctors!!

If you are looking for a doctor who is smart, funny, informative and inclusive then Dr. K is who you are looking for. I have only had great experiences with her and I would absolutely go with her again. My best friend delivered with Dr. Cashie last week and she was wonderful as well. I am so glad that I had Dr. Korostoff as my doctor.

I delivered my first born back in March, and I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Dawn Cashie. I actually missed her after my son was born because I didn't see her for six weeks!

I don't have any direct experience with Dr. Han, but Dr. Korostoff was also very helpful to me. She helped with several things that I popped into the office without an appointment for. They generally want to make you feel comfortable and taken care of at this practice. I can't believe all the negative things that are written on this site.

They have a ton of patients, and the waiting room is so tiny. Luckily, they are moving to a nice, new, BIGGER office this fall. Can't wait to see the improvements!

I am an over-40 pregnant woman who has felt nothing but comfortable with Dr. Korostoff and only hope she is with me in the delivery room when the time comes. I don't know about Dr. Han other than she smiled at my daughter and I when I was getting my blood pressure done. It's such a shame the bad response but hopefully Dr. Han will read these and make changes to her office. I really wanted; however, to state my total satisfaction with Dr. K. She is a wonderful, energetic and positive doctor. Lisa.

Dr. Han's office is terrible, and the only reason she was ever my doctor was because she was assigned to me in the E.R. When I was a teenager I got an ovarian cyst, and instead of taking it out right away, she waited to see if it would go away on its own. Two days of hospitalization later, the cyst doubled in size and tore my ovary, causing it to go gangrene and put toxins into my body. She performed emergency surgery and removed it, but I couldn't walk for a month, and now I have a giant scar and am on medication for the rest of my life. I had cyst on my other ovary later, and went to a different doctor who took it out right away, without scars or hospitalization. I will always wonder if Dr. Han did the right thing by waiting to treat me.

I do not have experience with Dr. Han, but Dr. Korostoff is by far the best OBGYN I have ever had. She spent more time with me and gave my concerns more attention than any doctor I've ever seen. She is so easy to talk to and really gave me her undivided attention. Someone said in a review that she was inattentive. I'm wondering if we're talking about the same Dr. Korostoff. When it came time for my labor, she was so calm and confident. She really managed that delivery room and everyone in it with ease. She stiched me up aftewards and took her time because she wanted to get everything "just perfect." She sure did. I healed so quickly and had no problems like I did healing from my first episiotomy (which was horrible). All in all, she was just wonderful. I recommend her to all my friends. The office can be busy, but if you make your appointment right when they return from lunch, you're usually in and out. I can't fault an office for being busy. I'd rather have an office squeeze me in than turn me away. Also, they are moving to brand new offices which I'm sure will be bigger and state-of-the-art. I've been through plenty of bad gynecologists, but Dr. Korostoff is truly a gem.

Especially if you are over 40 or high risk pregnancy. She is cold, rude and careless. Tests that should have been taken were overlooked. There were no concerns or efforts on her part when there were complications. No explanations given when asked. Terrible communicator. Gives you little to no information. The office staff is horrible and lazy.

I was bleeding three weeks before my miscarriage and was put on bed rest. But the part I can not seem to get out of my head was when she pressed so abruptly on the outside of my uterus with the Ultrasound stick, I wanted to jump off the table. I could have sworn she was trying hard to hurt the pregnancy which caused me to have even more contractions and cramps. Of course I can not prove it but I wouldn't put it past her as she said something to the effect, "well if the pregnancy is meant to stay it will stay" I made it to 13 weeks of pregnancy and changed doctors immediately.

I must say Dr. Cashie is great, she performed my D & C and was amazing! I've heard great things about
Dr. Korostoff as well. To bad they are practicing under Dr. Han. Anyway, there are good doctors out there. I did find a terrific OBGYN and I have a beautiful baby girl.

Dr. Han is extremely busy, and so visits to her have a tendency to feel rushed, and indeed, impersonal. She is also constantly being called out for emergency surgeries, and I had several appointments with her where I had to end up seeing someone else because she had suddenly become unavailable, or was running extremely late. That being said, I believe she is competent and never gave me any reason to think otherwise. She actually was not at my birth because the baby came sooner than expected. She essentially showed up after the fact, checked me out and signed off on the delivery.

So surprised to see negative reviews when my experience was so positive. My child was born in 2003 so the office may be a bit different now but I found it to be very welcoming. Dr. Han was fabulous...my husband and I rarely had to wait and always had many questions for her between the two of us. She always gave us the time we needed and answered all our questions thoroughly. She was always pleasant and reassuring. I don't recall any issues with the office staff.

Just yesterday I faxed a request for some medical records to be faxed from her office to my current OB (I no longer live in LA) and she called me today, on a Sunday, to respond! To me that is amazing service...I wish I had been able to take the call. Actually, I wish I still lived in the area so she could deliver my second child, too.

Sorry for those who have had a poor experience, but mine was really great.
