Incredible doctor. His wife works gives all the shots! She is great. His new girl Maria is wonderful and full of life. I understand he is going to hire another new pediatrician very soon, a wonderful woman, I am told. We have been going to his office for 5 years now. His new staff is wonderful and friendlier than ever. He has helped me and my family through some very tough times, illnesses, deaths. a divorce and financial struggles! He is a GOD SEND to the Hunter's Creek and the surrounding areas. Once you meet him you will understand what I mean. I have recommended him at work, to my friends and to all my church community (he is very faith oriented, not a "bible thumper", though). He has a gift with children and always seems to put mine at ease, even when thye are extrememly ill. He is probably the most gentle man I have ever met. You simply can not find a better doctor in this area for your kids, PERIOD! (and I have seen most of them in the area.) GOD BLESS YOU! Dr. Dobbins!
We have been going to Dr. Dobbins since the day after we came home from the hospital. Now our son is 13 months and he has been quit sick over the last few months and Dr. Dobbins and his staff have been great! Never an issue getting a same day appt in the case of him being ill. Very gentle with him with he has to get his vaccinations. Top notch all the way around. They really care about your kids and become part of your family.

This poster does not know the statute she quotes because it clearly states differently. One should be very careful when accusing someone of wrong doing. Per Florida statute 64b8-10-003: "Recognizing that patient access to medical records is important and necessary to assure continuity of patient care, the Board of Medicine urges physicians to provide their patients a copy of their medical records, upon request.... The Board, however, also recognizes that there is a cost of reproducing medical records ...... Therefore, the following rule sets forth the permitted costs for the reproduction of medical records. (1) Any person licensed pursuant to Chapter 458, F.S., required to release copies of patient medical records may condition such release upon payment by the requesting party of the reasonable costs of reproducing the records. (2) For patients and governmental entities, the reasonable costs of reproducing copies of written or typed documents or reports shall not be more than the following: (a) For the first 25 pages, the cost shall be $1.00 per page. (b) For each page in excess of 25 pages, the cost shall be 25 cents." I pray this person finds some serenity and does no one undo harm by FALSELY accusing them of wrong doings.
After three years plus I choose to switch pediatricians. Contacted the office for a copy of my children??s records. I was told it would be $1 per page up to 25 pages then .25 for each page after that. Florida Statute states clearly states this is against the law if it's for continuing treatment. Now more than ever, I'm confident of my choice to find another doctor for my children.
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Everything other than the location
