I do not know what went on in the reviews that are posted all I know is what we have experienced. My children have been using MCP since they were born and before they had two offices. My daughter is 11 and my son is 9. We have seen all of the doctors at one time or another (at both offices). We have been pleased with the service we have received over the years. The doctors have been very knowledgeable and also very patient with us as the parents, to answer any questions we might have about the well being and treatment of our children. They referred us to a specialist with our son when one was needed. He was also recently diagnosed with severe bronchitis and beginning pneumonia by one of the "new" doctors and the treatment that he received during the office visit was great. The doctor was very thorough in her examination of him and her explanation of treatment for him to me. She answered all of my questions before I left the office. Also, we have been very pleased with the nurses and office staff over the years. When I leave messages for the nurses the messages are returned in a very timely manner. The nurses have always gone out of there way to help us with our children on everything from a minor situation to a major one. The office staff has also been very helpful with everything from insurance matters to appointments. We moved from Marshall County to Morgan County four years ago and we still make the 45 minute drive to the Arab office when our children need a doctor. If our children get sick and we are visiting our family in Boaz we use the Boaz office. We could not imagine trusting our children's care to anyone else.

I feel very sorry for the parents of the child with asthma...I have it myself, though it has never been too severe. I can understand that watching their child have an asthma attack was very scary and concerning. My daughter, thank God, had never been seriously ill in her 19 months so far. She has seen all the doctors at MCP since her birth for several well-baby visits and a few minor "normal" childhood illnesses. All of the docs have been patient and helpful. They have taken time to answer all of this first-time-mom's questions and have just generally been very very friendly. I would recommend them.
