At 32, I had a very uncommom pregnancy that caused severe hemorrhaging from my uterine artery along with a risk for hysterectomy. Dr. Truluck performed an emergency surgery and saved my uterus. Even if the outcome had not been this successful, I know he would have tried all options before performing the hysterectomy. He is a doctor I fully trust and have confidence in, and I know he cares about what is in the best interest of his patients.
Eastern Carolina women's center is nice in the havelock office, but the new bern office is a mess. You wait for hours!! They move you around to different waiting rooms to make the time pass, but you are actually there for 2 hours before you are seem for 15 minutes then shoved out the door. The receptionists in havelock are wonderful but the new bern ones have attitudes and are very very rude with patients. The waiting rooms are always full!!! I had a referal to the office from my insurance company that didn't run out for 6 more months and I was told by the new bern nurse that they closed out my file and I am no longer a patient in their center. She was very rude and not willing to work with my insurance company...therefor turning away a 36 week pregnant woman! Leaving her with no dr.!! Nice place, huh??
Dr Brian Truluck is a highly professional ob/gyn. His nurses & staff are very efficient and friendly. I've been lucky enough to be treated by Dr. Truluck for my first pregnancy. He has a way to comfort and ease your anxieties and concerns. The best part is that I can always expect to be seen at my scheduled appointment time.
