Nothing but an orthotics mill! His office totally ignored all of the history I brought in when having new orthotics made. He ignored my experiences and stated that they don??t do it that way. They made the orthotics and they had to be sent back 4 times for adjustments until I gave up. I call Dr. Carr to explain my frustration and had to leave a message, to which I never received a return call.

I had bunion surgery two weeks ago with Dr. Carr and everything has gone great so far. His staff is knowledgeable and they called me a few times before and after the surgery to make sure everything was set (i.e. anesthesia person, nurse, etc). I also had to call a couple of times for questions after my surgery and they were responsive. The scar is looking good so far. I think it will look like a fine line after it's healed. By the way, I had both feet done at the same time and it's working out fine. I can't drive so it's frustrating, but overall I will get better sooner since I did both feet at the same time.

Pros: Dr Carr made me feel comfortable with the procedure, everything went as expected

Cons: parking can be hard to find sometimes around the area

Dr. Carr recently moved his office to a spacious, bright loft-like space in the River North area. His facility is a full service clinic, offering X-ray faciilities as well as outpatient surgery. He stays up-to-date on the latest technologies and surgical procedures, but he is always conservative in his approach to treating foot pain. He takes the time to explain all treatment options and is very patient in explaining the causes of your problems.
