Timothy J. Rost, MD

I found Dr. Rost through the Internet by all the positive reviews I read. I had his office (everyone there was highly recommended), and Dr. Wai as my top choices. When I called both offices to get quotes (I don't have insurance), Dr. Rost's office saved me around $1000, and he doesn't upcharge for c-sections, which I thought was great because you always hear of doctors pushing c-sections because they get paid more...maybe that's a myth, but still makes me feel better. I ultimately chose Dr. Rost because I read he was a Christian based doctor, I do not know if that applies to the others there, but it was comforting for me because he was the first male gyno I had ever been to. I have been very pleased with Dr. Rost, I immediately felt a sense of trust. He is a get down to business kind of doctor, but always asks if you have questions and takes the time to answer them. He personally does the sonograms which I love because he tells me everything he is looking at and the ways he knows the organs are functioning properly. At my last doctor the technician always did the sonograms so I never got to hear anything like that from the doctor, just that everything looked great. I appreciate that Dr. Rost is the one involved in every aspect. He is very professional and knowledgeable, never hesitates when you ask him something, always has an educated answer for you. The staff is very nice, scheduling has always been accommodating, and they always call quickly with my results and when returning phone calls. The only area that could be improved upon was the lack of response from the financial department. I did have to make a few phone calls in order to get a response on more than one occasion, but once I did talk to them they were great and very helpful in working with us for payment...you just have to call a couple times. Overall I have not had any issues with any aspect at their facility, and I feel very confident that I have a doctor I can trust and that will take time with me when needed. I would definitely recommend.
