I had a tooth ache from a filling coming out I couldn't get into my regular dentist so my husband took me to Warren Stinson. Said he'd heard he was fast and cheap. I arrived at 10:30 and didn't leave til almost 3!!! I didn't have an appointment but that wait was ridiculous! When I finally did get called back the staff/ladies were rude and to interested in eating a banana nut bread loaf a lady had brought into her niece that works there. After my X-ray I was took to a room sat in the chair Dr. Stinson came in and said which tooth and how many do u want pulled. I told him my whole top left felt like it was throbbing so he slammed the utensil down and screamed well then take a full scale X-ray. He proceeded and when he put the X-ray in my mouth pushed it down so hard my gums started bleeding! He walked out came back a few mins later and said 1 has to be pulled and you need one filled but no point in filling it it'll just send up needing repaired and I said ok so which one has been killing me he gave me a mirror and took me to watch him. When I looked he jammed a long hook up into the root of my tooth needless to say I came up outta the chair! I've gave birth to 2 kids and had never felt such excruciating pain in my life!!! He pushed me back down in the chair and I was yelling at me that it was uncalled for do he rammed a needle in my mouth so hard I heard my palate crack! I thought he was pulling one but he pulled both and I didn't want the one that could of been filled pulled! I told him that before he started!! He was so rough and rude my head was going side to side! When he was done he threw the utensils in a pan and said all done and walked out to return mins saying ur fine go to checkout! He hollered to the receptionist and said she doesn't need pain meds. The lady said ur done bye! Im 32 and I have never ever cried after I've been to a dentist but Warren Stinson had me balling! My husband was so furious he tore outta the parking lot!! That night I was in so much pain and I shouldn't of had any pain!! He's rude inconsiderate rough unprofessional and plain out intolerable! If he sees up to 150 patients a day good for him but he could lower that number and have more consideration and patience for patients! I will NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!! I will tell everyone I know to stay clear of him!!
I showed Up about lunch time I want to say about 1pm, was, I had my x-rays done and was in the chair before my paperwork was even done, he came in gave me my shots(hurt a little) and came back in and pulled 2 pre-molars and a wisdom tooth in less than 5 mins....I was in pain for weeks he totally got rid of my pain in mins and all 3 teeth was $185
Thank you very much Dr. Stinson you will be highly recommended.
I've been seeing Dr. Stinson on and off for a number of years. I have a complicated medical condition that makes getting dental work done problematic--a bad thing since my teeth are gradually being destroyed by my illness. The local university dental center wanted 10,000 dollars cash to treat me and wanted to admit me to have the work done--hospital also needing 2000 dollars cash in hand. I'm disabled, low income and on medicare so this is not a possibility.
Dr. Stinson has been a lifesaver. He's allowed me to have teeth pulled gradually so as not to aggravate my condition. The man knows how to pull teeth--he's an expert at this, capable of doing four or five extractions in under 30 seconds.
The other thing I like about him is he has a social conscience. He's always on the list of volunteer dentists for Remote Area Medical expeditions in the area. He supports the local community. This is in addition to providing low cost dental services to those of us who cannot afford dental care.
You need to know when you go what you want done. Be very clear in your communication, briefly stating what you want/need. If you don't know, ask for an evaluation and treatment plan. No one is going to hold your hand or shoot the breeze--you are there for dental work, not to enjoy the muzak. Dr. Stinson can be abrupt at times, but he's doing at least three or four times the number of patients a so-called "top shelf" dental clinic treats. As soon as you are able, walk to the checkout, pay your bill and leave. The one time I needed help after an extraction--a different antibiotic--I called his cell phone on a holiday weekend and the script was at the pharmacy minutes later.
I recommend him highly--especially if you are dental-phobic, since the actual scary part is over and done with so quickly. There is no one else like him here. I'm quite sure he could have an upscale practice if he chose to--but he helps the less fortunate instead. That makes him a prince in my book.

Do NOT go to this Dentist!!! He is horrible- he treated my sister's tooth and was supposed to do a root canal and treat some decay. He 'sterilized' the utensil with a Bic lighter! Are you kidding me? Then he proceeded to tap on all of her teeth while she was in great pain and was very eager just to pull the teeth. He performed an inadequate root canal, in which he did not remove all of the nerve and did not close the root canal properly and now she has to have extensive oral surgery and the root canal redone. DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!!!

I'm one of those people who let my teeth go for over 25 years because of my fear from dentist. It got so bad I had to have 6 pulled my first visit and one just broke 2 nights ago and I'll be going back to Dr. Stinson very soon. Sure I'm nervous but I know I can go there and I'll be just fine. Thank You Dr.Stinson!
