.

I took both of my sons here when they were little and just recently switched my 14 year old to our family doctor.

This office is fairly small with just one waiting room for both sick and well children. However, they book sick kids during one block of hours and well visits at other hours.

There are a number of doctors in the practice. Cynthia Bright was always our doctor but she works part time now and is very hard to get. The other doctors are all fine. I have seen them all at least once and they each have their own personality and strengths but, on the whole, they seem competent and knowledgeable.

The staff of friendly and organized. However, I don't like calling the office because hold times can be very long and getting a call back can be longer.

I was much more impressed with the practice five or six years ago. Before I left, they seemed rushed and my son wasn't given enough time per visit especially during a physical. I think maybe they just have too many patients and not enough time to spend with each one which is a shame because they do know their stuff.

Dr. Bright helped my youngest son through a particularly bad illness and I will be forever grateful.

However, my sister takes her two young boys there now and is not pleased with the speed of the visits and how little time is taken listening to her concerns.

Overall, I would say this practice is satisfactory. I believe they were better before but they still certainly know all about what a child needs and how to care for them.

They have emergency hours on Sundays at their satellite office in Camillus which is a good thing because, as well all know, kids get sick either late at night or on a day when no doctors offices are open.

My experience was good until the recently when I became dissatisfied with how rushed our visits were. My sister is thinking of changing practices for the same reason.

Still, when I really needed help for my son, they were there, and they did everything they could to make sure h
