.

Wait time: Over 2 hours. I'm a poor, swarthy student from a 3rd world country, and he certainly didn't seem sensitive to my plight or respect my time. He took in before me a white patient who turned up an hour after me and was scheduled to meet the doctor 45 minutes after me. Billing: not transparent - mentioned one rate upfront and charged me a sum vastly higher. Ran no tests claiming to be busy (am I supposed to pay for an additional visit just because the doctor purports to be busy?), was unclear about how I was to deal with the insurance, & did not give me a break-up of the amount. This is patently unhelpful for a foreigner unfamiliar with the insurance procedure in this country. I'm thoroughly disappointed,& will contact the local NAACP chapter to discuss if the doctor's conduct constitutes some form of discrimination. If my experience is representative, I'd have to ask prospective patients to avoid him at all costs - especially if they are foreign/poor/persons of color.
