It's difficult to find friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable service, especially when your new in town. I recommend Lakeview Eyecare if these qualities are also important to you. They seem to take pride in what they do AND they are friendly! Keep up the good work Dr. Weiler and company!

Pros: Friendly, helpful, professional, easy to find location

Cons: It is somewhat difficult to park & be careful crossing Ashland Ave., but no big deal

A comprehensive eye exam for a contact lens patient is different than that of a spectacle wearing patient. Additional testing is needed to ensure that your eyes are not being adversely affected by contact lens wear.
This fee also includes trial lenses and any follow up visits throughout the year. A contact lens prescription cannot be issued without a contact lens fitting. Every eye doctor charges this fee in some form or another.

Our office deals with many insurance plans, each one different. We try to do our best to help patients understand their coverage. I admit it can sometimes be confusing. Ultimately it is the patients reasonability to know what their coverage is. If your contact lens fitting fee is not covered, there is nothing we can do about that. This is the insurance plan you selected.

Patient satisfaction is very important to me. I am sorry you had a bad experience at my office. Please call me and I will do what I can to rectify this situation. 773.327.0874

I recently went for a normal eye exam. Everything seemed great and when it was time to pay for the copay, they informed me there was a $55 "contact fit fee" that is NOT covered by the insurance. I was confused and didn't understand how this wasn't part of the exam? I am VERY annoyed that they didn't tell me ahead a time that a "contact fit" would NOT be covered by the insurance. I am also VERY annoyed that this supposedly "contact fit" procedure lasted about 2 minutes at the end of the exam and they charged me $55. I would not recommend this place due to their dishonesty and the fact they took advantage of this "contact fit fee". I didn't need a "contact fit" and would have been alright without one!

I've been to a lot of eye care places and I really enjoyed my experience here. As soon as I walked in, I felt at ease. The doctor was very professional and efficient. He recommended I try a new type of contacts, but I had some trouble the first few weeks. He really took the time to find out what my problems were, made suggestions and did what he could to help me through the transition. Now I'm very happy with me new contacts. Also, the office staff are really nice - one girl helped me pick out glasses and she did a great job of finding the best pair for my face shape and eye needs.

I looked at city search all morning and called about 10 places before I called Dr. Weiler's office. A lot of Bad reviews and rude, uninterested receptionists made me really uncomfortable but not this place. The receptionist was sweet and patient with me and got me an appointment that day. When I went in they helped me try on like 30+ pairs of glasses before I found the ones i liked. No pressure to buy the most expensive or get me over with and out of there, obviously I haven't had good luck with people in the past but these guys impressed me. I'm young and broke and hate to wear glasses, they were great to me and I recommend anyone who appreciates good service to check them out. Thanks!!!
