Went to Gashland Clinic about migraines and spot on my leg, along with a general checkup. I've suffered with migraines my whole life and never seen a doctor about them or taken prescription for them before. They became debilitating which is why I finally conceded to seeing a doctor. Wilkins seemed to understand my concern about my migraine frequency (sometimes 3 a week) at first. He wrote me a prescription. He also ordered a ton of tests. When the test results came back in, I heard nothing from them. Only knew mine were in because my husband got a notice in the mail about his. I was finally told that all of my test results were great. When my migraine prescription ran out I called about refills. He refused unless I came back into the office to run more tests. When I questioned why, he said it was necessary. So I made another appt. In the meantime I suffered through two more horrible migraines (in a 36 hour period). When I got in for the appt I was quite upset. Instead of coming into the room and discussing the problem, I overheard him in the hallway telling the nurse that I'd better not have that attitude when he came in. Needless to say, I was quite a bit more angry. He refused to write me another prescription. I was NOT asking for any kind of narcotic. In fact, the drug I wanted was just a larger dose of ibuprofen that my grandmother takes for her migraines and she's a nurse. His lack of concern for my medical situation had me so upset that I even contacted the state medical board and filed a formal complaint. I suggest staying far away from the Gasland Clinic. His only concern was getting me in the office so that he could bill insurance for another office visit.

They always seem to be busy, but they do have extended hours on THursday evenings. I like that seeing you cant always make it during the day. They do make you wait forever in the waiting room though. Just okay group of doctors, no standouts that I know of.

We always go to Gashland Clinic when we are sick and need to see a doctor right away. They can always fit you in the same day, usually within hours. They also have urgent care hours in the evenings. They have a large staff of doctors. I most often see Dr. Krumm. He is very knowledgable, on time and has great bedside manner. Gashland Clinic is a great general purpose medical practice.
