So I went to my first appointment with dr. eduardo and just wasn't impressed. She seemed uneducated or something and we both just didn't get a good feel about her, but I thought I would give it one more appointment before I switched......so at the next appointment it just got worse. I had a few lab tests and the lab girl hadn't looked at my chart and tried to give me the Gamma shot? for the (-) antigen, but I am O+ so I kept telling her this and she just kept telling me that I needed it and that I was (-), duh like I wouldn't know my own blood type, finally they went and checked (or pretended to, but couldn't because they had already lost my records) and then admitted they were wrong and didn't give me the gamma shot. Then when I went into see the doctor, I was explaining to her about how I was nervous to deliver at the hospital out here because it doesn't have a NICU and since both of my kids have come a few weeks early I didn't know if a NICU would be necessary. All she could say was "Wow...You go into labor on your own?" in a very surprised voice! Duh, like this is unusual, and she wasn't prepared for it! Then they lost our medical records we gave them the week before (luckily we only gave them a copy and kept the originals). And to top it off I got in a loud discussion with the financial people about how they won't just let us pay cash and get the cash discount because we have insurance, even though we don't have any maternity coverage through our insurance and have to pay cash. Overall neither of us got a good feeling from anyone in the office and don't want to put the life of our baby in their hands so we are going to switch doctors and hospitals even though I am 32 week.
