Just wanted to tell you about the horrible experience I had at LI Beauty MD/Dr. Andrew Makrides. Upon consulting with the DR. for botox, I made it clear that the main objective I expected was to have my eyebrows lifted. I let him know that my eyes had drooped before and that i wanted to make sure that would not happen. H assured me that it wouldn't. He seemed to administer a lot of botox in my head. (i'm 39 years old and wrinkles are fair not too bad at this point) After a bit, I could see that my eyes had drooped. I waited about 2-3 weeks to make sure it didnt kick in or change but to my dismay my eyes were definitely drooped. I made an appt. to see the DR to hopefully have this fixed. Upon seeing him, he introduced himself as if he never saw me before, he didnt even remember who i was until he looked at my folder. I explained that my eyes drooped and he said he was going to look at the photos and bring them in to discuss. I didn't recall having pictures taken but he had already left the room. He came back in and said that there were no before/after pictures. He basically said that i looked fine to him and asked me what he could deo to make me happy. I said, "fix my eyes" he said he could. After several back and forth exchanges and what seemed like an eternity of awkward staring with no words, he told me that there was nothing he could do and that I had to wait for the Botox to dissipate. I was a little confused since he said prior that he could fix them and now all of a sudden, there was nothing he could do. He also asked me at one point, "what are you asking for your money back"? At no point did I ask, suggest or infer that I was looking for my money back, I just wanted him to stand behind his work and fix my eyes. To no avail....I should also mention that I asked how much botox he was goign to use prior to treatment and he said he was using 30 units of botox which I agreed to and when he was finished, he said he used more and of course, charged me for it when I did not agree to using that much. I would steer clear of this office that is now in the basement in his house....bad news, bad botox, bad business.
