Contacted this Therapist at HELP to inform her that a Marriage Therapist working at HELP at that time was involved with a married man that at the time was living with his wife and children while separated and that this involvement with the marriage therapist was causing problems with the children in their home environment and with the relationship they had with their father. She was very rude and did not seem to care and told me it was not in conflict with the marriage therapist job, and did not see it as an ethical situation.

I met Dr. Annette Conway almost 10 years ago after breaking my neck on a Marine base following 9/11.

I had tried someone else first, but they were not a good fit, they just sat and listened for two sessions. It was not what I needed, so I looked for another therapist.

I am so glad that I found Dr. Annette Conway. I tend to like a Cognitive Behaviorism approach rather than a Freudian multi-year approach.

Dr. Conway is brilliant, attentive, relates well, and is very comfortable to work with. Her approach is professional yet caring. Not distant and clinical like the first therapist I tried, who was Freudian in his approach.

I can not recommend Dr. Conway enough. Although I don't live in the same city any longer, I still keep in touch with Dr. Conway from time to time. She is great at helping and answering questions, difficulties or problems that occasionally I like to get knowledgeable feedback about.

Part of her services are to those, like me at the time, are home-bound. I was in a medical HALO, bolted into my skull with a poly-carbonate shell on from my waist up, with polls between the HALO and the body shell to keep my head immobilized.

I was unable to go out for office visits. In such cases she actually does make house calls. I don't know what I would have done with out her. She really made a huge difference in an extremely difficult situation. Something I did not get and never would have with the first "Freudian" therapist.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Conway and her practice, which I now understand has expanded from not only San Diego, but LA and Sacramento as well. She has the only service of its type that I know of where they do make "house calls/visits".
