I came to visionworks to ask a quote, it sounded good, but once they got your money it was a whole different story!!! I forgot my insurance and they say to bring it back, and when i did, this black lady came over and furrowed her brow and put her lips in a thin line!!! What a n*gger!!!! She pout me on hold for like 30 minutes to call the insurance company, each 5 minutes saying she'd still callin when obviously not cause she went around talking with others. This is true because it turn out that the insurance company isnt open on Saturday!!! Hah!!! You can figure that out by simply calling. Well I came back to pick up the glasses 2 weeks later, and only got one. Apparantly, they lost the other one!!! But of course they wont admit that because they kept asking if it was a special order, and its not!!! i caleld them the 3rd week and they asked the same question, gonna call me back but i know that is b*llshit. I called them a few days later, and they did same routine and will put me to manager and guess what? They f*cking hang up on me!!!!!! I was nice but these people need some good lynching from the klu klux klan!!!

You F*CKING INCOMPPETENT N*GGERS! The location and place is good but the employee need to learnr some respect. If only i could give this place neg stars

Ok I read the review below, and that sounded like a HORRIBLE experience. One of my friends told me not to go there, but I did cause it was most convenient. I was greeted right away by Dominick who checked me in, then sent me to the frames. I could not find one I was sure really suited me. A new manager rep came over (I knew he was new cause he was not sure about how to enter in some stuff in the computer, but asked, and he still was an excellent customer service rep) and helped me pick out some frames that were not expensive, and looked good, so my friends tell me. SO this was July23, 2010. Well yesterday my lenses cracked somehow, so I emailed them on the main website, I got a voicemail the next morning from Dominick at the store telling me to bring them in and he will replace the lenses no problem, no charge. So i brought them in, and not to get into race, but it was the white chick that asked me about a warranty, Dominick overheard, and said, "No, She is good to go"....I am white by the way....not that it really matters, but I thought it was worth saying because I was treated with respect and courtesy by the new at the time African American sales manager , and Dominick. All I can say is they must have changed a lot of their staff. Even though my lenses broke, I am happy with the customer service obtained.

The Arundel MiIls Visionworks is obviously in business due to there low prices. When you go to a business that is the cheapest around there are many drawbacks. Lack of customer service and employees who dislike white people is there main issue. I am sure the low prices bring in new customers but it doesn??t bring back repeat customers. I went in at 815 only to be told that I needed to speak to the manager to replace glasses that were under warranty. I sit down and wait to be helped yet every other person that walked through the door was helped before me as I was unacknowledged by the manager for 45 minutes. When she did talk to me it was confrontational and I was basically called a liar saying that I did not purchase the additional insurance. I should have brought all the paperwork with me as the files they keep in hard copy format and in there computer system did not help me. The people that work there are not white people and me being white saw exactly who they wanted to help and who they didn??t want to help. The actions of these people and how this business is run makes me question why I am part of a system that ensures the freedom of these people and there ability to take part in a business. This isn??t the first nor will it be the last bad review of this business. I know Visionworks has a feedback/survey system but that is not where people put there distaste for this location or there inept employees. Visionworks needs to get people to review local reviews and send in secret shoppers to see what exactly happens there.

Every single time I am in this store I get frustrated. I got my first pair of contacts from here but spent probably about 2 hours waiting. You can order your prescription over the phone but they won't call you when they come in. They will withhold information from you or just simply forget to tell you things. Every single person I have delt with from there has given me some kind of attitude and it's just been an over all terrible relationship. There are just a cheap places somewhere else and there are other Vision works that aren't this bad. I would never recommend someone to go here!

I tried to get help here since the Columbia Store, off Dobbin Road, rudely left me waiting.

When I arrived I went to the receptionist. She was on the phone helping a patient, so I waited my turn. During this time the other three staff members just talked amongst themselves quietly, while glancing over to me once in a while.

While I was there, the other three staff members openly assisted customers that clearly arrived after me. Actually, they stood behind me in line.

I saw the doctor, she was alright. Did the job, wrote my prescription, and billed me.

When I went to pick choose frames, nobody wanted to help me. So I asked one of the staff members. He clearly didn't want to help me. Was rude and short with me. But I took it since I needed glasses.

However, because of the traffic there and the convenience of the mall, this place if very busy and you need to expect it will take sometime for you to be serviced. When a person has an appointment, they may be delayed because the person(s) on the calendar before you may not have made the correct appointment time making the appointment longer or they arrived late. This backed up some of the appointments making others have to wait beyond their appontment time. The doctor was however very helpful and insisted in having me try a pair of contacts on before I bought them. This is not a small practice and therefore you don't get a lot of hand holding. However, the prices are very competitive and worth the extra effort to wait sometimes.

i went in on Saturday to see if they will take my insuarance first I had to wait 15 minutes for someone help me second they said they will call me on Monday to let me know if my insuarance is covered well they never called and it is tuesday i tried calling servral times and they will not answer the phone so you see how good this is rated.....
