I have met all the Drs and Nurse Practitioners at Southwest Women's Care. I have never met another group of Drs so compassionate and caring as them. They took care of me and my babies with the most amazing detail to attention and professionalism. Worth the wait and the drive. They have helped me with my three pregnancies, and I have been with them for 12 years. I won't go anywhere else. Best of the best!

Do not go to this place! We were just there in the auwatukee office, and the lady that works at the front was announcing the reason people were visiting the office. Some poor couple was there for infertility and she told everyone, they were completely embarrassed, and another young lady was there for birth-control, the lady at the front told all of us, the poor girl just turned completely red. I guess the staff needs more training on privacy laws.

The doctors at Southwest Womens Care are outstanding. Their practice is busy and non standard appointments are tough to come by. The Mesa staff is friendly and professional.

I was a patient at this practice for about 3 years. I really liked the NPs. My first baby was delivered by Dr. Williamson and she is quite wonderful. Dr. Grayson is very personable as well. While all the docs are competent, I found Dr. Balk to lack compassion. She was the doctor on duty when I delivered my second baby, who was stillborn through no fault of hers, and she was completely stoic throughout the four-day ordeal and unsympathetic to my emotional needs. Her only concern appeared to be for my physical well-being. Even at our follow up visit she was cold and distant. Later, a staffer at their office referred to my stillborn baby son as "the product of conception" when I called to get my records. While this may be correct medical terminology, it reaffirmed to me that switching practices was the right decision.

Pros: Competent Doctors

Cons: Lack of empathy

I absolutely recommend this group. Dr. Richard Wilson was friendly and warm and never made me feel rushed. He spent hours with me and always made me feel cared for. The nurses were sweet and attentive. I highly recommend this group. Someone is always at the hospital just in case and I had so little wait time at my office visits.

I started going to Southwest Women's Care when I was pregnant with my second son. I thought my experience during my first pregnancy was good until I changed doctors. The staff at Southwest Women's Care does not compare to any that I have encountered elsewhere. Everyone is friendly and courteous. I love that they can do ultrasounds in the office. It gave me such peace of mind when they could not find the heartbeat with the doppler, but then pulled out the ultrasound machine so we could see the heartbeat. It was so nice not to have to wait to make an appointment at another location. I also love that they draw blood in the office rather than sending you to the lab to wait. This was especially great for the glucose screen. Someone is always on call at Banner Desert from the practice. This was a relief for me when I ended up there at 32 weeks and when I arrived to deliver at 9cm! I cannot recommend this practice enough if you are pregnant and searching for a great group of doctors!
