I had been told I was not a surgical candidate by 2 major universities. Dr Swartz was able to review the data, suggest new tests, find a surgically removable seizure focul and refer me to a competent neurosurgeon. As a result I now drive and live a normal life! She never gave up on me.

I was diagnosed with epilepsy 15 years ago and saw many doctors. After passing the age of 18 I had to find an adult doctor and read that Swartz had numerous awards and was well accomplished in her field. What all those awards fail to recognize is her lack of care and concern for her patients. She has horrible bedside manners and is hard to get an appointment with but most importantly she doesn't care what's best for you as a patient. In times of need she was near impossible to reach and she more then a few times had me significantly increase and decrease my meds. I had numerous seizures during this time period and/or was over intoxicated. I finally switched doctors and have been seizure free ever since. You have officially been warned to look elsewhere.
