.

I have been to Dr Acker for 15 years, 3 c-sections, and 2 uterine surgeries. I was unceremoniously fired as a client and can no longer use any doctor there. I have always done everything she told me to do, paid our bills immediately, and been pleasant to deal with. I had a disagreement 1 time over a particular appointment and was fired for "abusing the appointment system", which is completely untrue.

Her records are spotty and either she or her nurse can't seem to find when tests were run (grossly inaccurate by several years), she is not flexible when it comes to a cash paying patient's needs (I guess she likes to be able to run every test she wants with insurance. Cash paying- you draw the line because it isn't in the budget. She won't back down).

She has forgotten this notion of "customer service" and "customer needs". She is too used to insurance companies paying for whatever she recommends and she forgets that patient care is a 2-way dialogue.

Now I've lost 15 years worth of records unless I want to pay who knows how much (probably several hundred dollars) for my records to be copied. Furthermore, I am shocked with how little regard she has for a long-time GOOD patient.

To add insult to injury, I have overpaid and had a credit. Surprise, surprise they can't find my money. Not only are her patient records sloppy (or she/her nurse can't read them correctly), their financial records are sloppy too.
