The actual doctor was amazing. She knew almost emediately what the problem(s) were after years and years of not knowing. She obviously knows what she's doing and has tons of experience. I will always be greatful for what she did for me. She preformed the surgery herself which made me feel more comfortable. However scheduling appointments, the surgery itsself, and getting ahold of someone/a call back was rediculous. it took weeks to schedule the surgery, the nurse who helps take your information was less than personable, it took multiple calls to finally get ahold of anyone and i would never get a call back.. EVER. I think the final straw was when i found out i was being charged every visit (a office fee?) and had racked up a 300 dollar bill after months of visits and not a mention of the random things they were charging me for. They had no record of me making any payments (atleast 200 bucks) and when I asked for them to calculate the charges for me they were charging me a significant amount more than what it actually added up to be for no apparent reason. I was put on hormone treatments for my condition which required me to have a shot every month.. every month was a struggle. My boyfriend wasn't allowed back with me (not for the exam just for a shot) and the nurses aid was rather rude about the whole thing. About 3 months into the treatment they actually lost my medicine (you have to be on point with getting the shot or it's a void) and they tried to blame it on the pharmacy i was getting the medicine shipped from. When i called them up they saw that it had been mailed, it weighed what it should have weighed (shot and hotflash medicine both in box) and had to call on my behalf to figure out where it went. They never found it, i had to get it mailed back, and never came back for the remaining 3 shots. weeks after missing my appointment (which was very important NOT to miss due to the hormone shots) they called to see what was going on. Not very on top of things and I cried multiple times in office due to the horrible nurses aid. The surgery I was told was "no big deal" and was given the worlds worst pain medicine (something new they were trying out) I spent all weekend crying unable to sleep due to pain (they're closed on the weekends) and had to call on monday and beg for something stronger. The whole experience was less than wonderful and left me rather scarred. im now pregnant with my first child and in a desperate search for a new gyno. I would love to go back to the doctor but between the nurses aid and disfunctional front office i will be going elsewhere.
