Great doc! I had knee issues for years. Dr. Voss got it right the first time and I'm completely satisfied. Explains things well, gives his patients lots of time to ask questions--he knows all the cutting-edge techniques and includes you in the decision process.

I saw Dr. Voss five times. The front desk staff was rude, and wait times were always 45+ minutes. The waiting area was cramped. Voss was always unfamiliar with my case, unprepared for my visits, and uninterested in my progress. He recommends risky procedures with a near-zero % success rate. He physically examined me only twice, never getting to know me or my case. Voss does not explain things clearly, and he cant say I dont know to tough questions. He just fabricates a response. Voss also made contradictory statements to me about my condition. He does not encourage patient education; he believes anyone who sees him need go further for more. He can unexpectedly become physically and verbally aggressive, as he did with me on my final meeting with him. Overall, my experience with Voss has felt like a DANGEROUS WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. My recommendation- SEEK A DOCTOR ELSEWHERE!

I have seen a lot of ortho surgeons about my knees. I am a runner and I couldn't run anymore until I saw Dr. Voss. He is amazing at diagnosing and his surgery made my knees pain free. All the nurses in the OR said they wouldn't go to anyone else except Dr. Voss--and can understan why! A friend of mine at the hospital told me that other surgeons consult with him about their tough cases, and he often is asked to assist or do the surgery. Again, I am not surprised. You will not be disappointed if you go to him for care!!

Although Dr. Voss is listed as having a practice in Boulder, in fact, his office is 25 minutes away in Lafayette, a not-so-minor tidbit his office staff failed to inform me of beforehand. I showed up at the Boulder office -- where his name is emblazoned in brass near the front door -- 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and was told by the attendant that he NEVER sees patients at that office. Okay, so there was a miscommunication. No biggie. Yet when I arrived at his other office 25 minutes later, the front desk attendant gave me one of those 'you're-late-buddy' scowls as she handed me the forms, which I filled out as quickly as I could. After 15 minutes or so, they led me into an examination room where I waited another 45 MINUTES! By then I was teetering on being late for an important work meeting, so I walked out of the room and told the attendant I would need to reschedule. While I made a phone call to put off my pending work appointment, the doctor finally showed up. I told him what happened, and he suggested that I try to get there earlier next time! No apology, no attempt at smoothing things out.
If this is treatment I get at the front-end, who knows what's coming down the road. So I'm passing on a reschedule (another two-weeks out, anyway) and looking for another orthopedist who treats his patients with a bit more respect.

After the husband took a header over his bicycle handlbars, this is the place we went. Dr. Lynn took the time necessary to answer all questions.
