Over several years I've had far too many problems at Boyt. They hold themselves out as a friendly, local pharmacy in contrast to the Walgreen's national chain-type...but they are often less helpful and not very friendly. They have screwed up my prescriptions several times and even filled scripts for medications that I have listed with THEM as allergies. They are not proactive in terms of helping resolve problem with doctors, and when there are communications breakdowns they ALWAYS blame the doctor. They cost me hundreds of dollars by not recommending, suggesting or even discussing the use of generics. And they employ some of the most rude and incompetent counter people I've ever seen.
Maybe in "the old days" Boyt's was a friendly, capable place. It is not anymore.

Very costumer focused, friendly, and helpful pharmacy staff. Some very competant pharmacists. I have done business with many pharmacies in the Metuchen/Edison area, but this one is where I do all my business these days. Plus they have a great shopper who buys lots of very unusual stuff that make great gifts.

This is a very nice quaint little pharmacy. It reminds me of an old times pharmacy. However, the prices are definetly not old time. The wanted ten dollars for diaper creme that is seven dollars else where. I would suggest going here to fill prescriptions but not to shop. It is in a really nice area though to walk around in while you wait for them to fill your order.

This place has a lot of cute gifts, candles, and holiday decorations. You can find lots of unique gifts, and they are relatively inexpensive. The pharmacy is quite fast and there is always wonderful service. The staff have been working there for years, so they know everything and everyone who comes in the store! I love their card selection as well.
