.

Its been one week so far and I've seen him 3 times, every other day. The 1st day he diagnosed me with optic neuritis (inflamed optic never) and told me this is a possible sign for either complete blindness or Multiple sclerosis. I took some blood tests for a few infections i thought could also cause the illness but ive seen him 2 more times since, and they dont have the results yet keep booking appointments for me.

I'm all for steady check ups especially if new symptoms arise but their receptionist is ridiculous. I dont know if it's her or the doctor making it so difficult for them to tell me when the blood work comes in and what are the results. I called them today (monday) to reschedule, since they still didnt have the results, to friday and when i asked if they could call me when the lab fax'd them the results she said id have to wait until friday.

the 2nd and 3rd visit I just saw their (optometrist/doctors assistant?) with a brief talk with the doctor and they still billed me the same as they did on the 1st day when the diagnostic took place.

aside from that, the wait is anywhere between1-2 hours and even though the doctor doesn't set the copay I cant afford to see him every other day like he would want and he doesn't seem to understand that.

This doctor was highly recommended from my primary. My appointment was at 2pm and didn't leave until 4:20pm. The docotor was excellent just thought he could have used a little bit more help, he was calling the patients from the waiting room himself!! Just paid my co-pay, not sure how much they'll be billing for. They specialize in neuro-pediactrics but they also do adults. He does have more than one office so this would also be a plus.

PROS: great doctor, nice staff
CONS: wait time
