I have never liked going to the dentist, but since I got insurance through my job I wanted to use it. I am very lucky to have found Carp Dental. Their staff was very friendly. Dr. Carp spent a good deal of time with me on my first appointment, which is not common today.

Because it has been years since I went to the dentist I needed a good deal of work. They took the time to explain my dental insurance to me, explain all my options, then I was able to get a great smile on my budget.

I've been a long time patient and have seen pretty much all of the doctors, specialist and hygienist they all are very good. The girls at the front desk & back always make my visit a fun experience filled with a good laugh! And re guarding the other view I've never had any bad experiences with Tina. She is always quick to answer my questions and very helpful. Once you start going to this office you'll find no reason to go else where.

I just moved to the area and had not been to the dentist in a while. I had a tooth start to bother me. Even though their schedule was full they worked me in.

I was nervous about going to Norrristown, but their office is in a pretty nice area. the staff was great, I did not even know my insurance would cover it, I thought I would have to pay it all.

They were great

They were great

Pros: Gets patients in fast, took my insurance

Cons: I had to park on the street

Not to impressed with the dentist but the dental hygienists were great. My youngest does not like going to the dentist and he did not have much compassion for her. The girls in the office are nice but if you have a youngster you might want to try somewhere else.

I have been going to Carp Dental for years (even when it was Moses Dental). The woman who cleans my teeth (Theresa) is always on time. The doctors have always been very nice. They answer my questions and give me plenty of options. I have been on their in-house dental plan. It has save me thousands of dollars over the years.

They accept Aetna insurance, but claim (says Ryan) that Aetna requires the full SSN. That is not so; I checked with Aetna, and they require from the provider only the last 4 digits of the SSN. Then Ryan said that Carp uses the entire SSN to identify all their patients.

Current advice says
? Safeguard your Social Security number. This is perhaps the single most important bit of information about you. Don't carry your card with you, and, if possible, don't even tell anyone the number.

I chose not to become a patient here. Carp would be wise to renovate its bookeeping practices. One bad apple in the bushel and a lot of identity theft can result.

If Carp's dental procedures are equally obsolete (and inconsiderate) I would not want to go there anyway.

Very satisfied with the care I receive, dentists I've seen (Dr. Lee) have been very professional, patient, and caring. All digital X-rays, so within a few clicks the dentist has your X-ray on the computer screen in each office and can show the detail of each tooth and you can better understand the explanation of the work to be done with the visual. Understands a tight budget and worked around my dental insurance to do resin composite fillings when the insurance only covered mercury amalgams. Upfront pricing and overview of the work I needed with a map of my teeth (problem teeth highlighted) on the computer screen right in the chair, instant data interchange with the insurance company to see what they'd pay for in a couple clicks. High-tech care without the high prices and snotty "dental boutique" attitude of my last dentist. Would recommend!

Great office! All modern technology. Digital xrays. Cleanest dental office I have ever been in. Staff was incredibly friendly and patient with me. I never had to be referred out for anything because there is an oral surgeon on staff, a periodontist and in-house dental lab technicians. They were very accurate with my dental benefits and offered payment options. I had the high tech tooth whitening procedure, veneers and a root canal performed on me and at no time was anything uncomfortable. You are looking at a high quality dental practice.
