My daughter had ear infections from birth to the age of 2.5, when we finally moved to Texas and she had tubes put in her ears. Under 4 years later, she was having issues again with her ears. Infections for 4 months straight. Well, we could never get an appointment with Dr. Martin (otherwise I probably would have switched pediatricians even sooner, since he's such a jerk and I wouldn't have been able to stand being in the same room as him) so we always saw his NP Angie. We saw her for 4 months, used every "allergy" medicine and antibiotic under the sun on my daughter. Finally I had enough, I was done jacking around with them when she suggested another antibiotic and another allergy medication. I demanded we go back to our ENT, and that she call him and see what our ENT suggested in the mean time - until we could get an appt with him.
We got in to see our ENT within a couple of weeks, and he said the fluid in her ear had turned to a jello substance it had been there so long. She could hardly hear, she was so uncomfortable. It was horrible.
Anyway, this was bad parenting on my part, but a couple days before her 2nd surgery to get tubes put back in her ears she was sick and had this fever of 104. I made the mistake of calling her pediatrician for advice since her surgery was right around the corner, I figured they wouldn't be able to do it, and may want to switch her medication.
Dr Martin did nothing but talk over me on the phone, he was so rude. I'll never forget the effort he put in to making me feel stupid. "Why are you fighting the fever? Don't fight the fever, its fighting the infection. Don't fight the fever, just bring her in tomorrow and I'll test her for the flu."
That stopped me in my tracks. Completely. I thought ... seriously? She has been in your office for ear infections for 4 months now, and I just explained to you on the phone (right before you cut me off, ahole) that she has an upcoming surgery to get tubes in her ears because of her constant ear infections, and you want to test her for the flu?
He heard nothing I said. His motivation and drive was to being a jerk. Dr Martin is a bully. He doesn't go home and think about his patients, he goes home and laughs about the stupid parents he sees all day.
Never again will I allow a doctor to treat me or my children that way.
My husband was so disgusted with the behavior he showed toward the doctors training in his facility. Making fun of them, and talking down to them in front of his staff, and our family. What a horrible place to be.

Dr. Martin is the only pediatrician I trust treating my son. He is exactly what any parent would want in a doctor. He is wonderful with children, knowledgeable with medicine and takes the time to talk with the parent. His office is child-friendly, and the staff will go the extra distance to make a family happy. As a parent, I only want what is best for my child, and I know my son is receiving the best care with Dr. Martin.
