Dr. Parker and his office. . . where to begin. Over the 1.5 years I used this dentist, I have accumulated a long list of negative reasons why no one should utilize his "services".

#1) Be prepared to sit in the waiting room for a MINIMUM of 30 minutes after you arrive, regardless of when your appointment was scheduled.

#2) If you are unlucky enough to have a tooth pulled by Parker himself, I feel your pain. The man took forever and couldn't get the tooth out. It broke, and my jaw hurt for months. I have had 6 teeth pulled in my life. I have never felt so much pain, and had to go through such a long process. On top of it all, while he was doing the procedure,and CLEARLY having trouble, he was having a conversation w/ one of his staff in the hallway and telling jokes the whole time!!!!!

#3) He wants your money and will create conditions that you don't really have in order to get it. Periodontal disease? Small gaps between your teeth and gums. Apparently he tells a lot of his patients they have this. I mean, how would they know if it's a lie. They put their trust into the doctor. Of course, when you ask if your insurance will cover this, they look it up and confidently say "YES". Then the bill comes and you find out, it's not. TOO LATE. You have to pay $300.

#4) In 2009, I used MetLife as my insurance provider. In 2010, I was forced to change to CIGNA due to my employer changing plans. I notified Parker's office of this and they said "OK". I continued going there, and guess what? Parker's office is not in CIGNA's network. Almost everything I had done was either not covered, or only at 50%. I didnt find out til the bills came! They did not have the decency to tell me this when I notified them of my insurance carrier change.

#5) Expect a busy signal when you call in to the office.

#6) Need a receipt to send in to your insurance provider or medical card? No, they don't have receipts for services. Just a printout of your billing account with abbreviations of services rendered. Microsoft Word?

I even break down in tears several times each day. This was honestly the biggest regret in my life. I feel that this butcher has ruined my teeth. i wouldn't witsh this experience on my worst enemy. Please, please, PLEASE, do NOT let "Dr." Bruce Parker do ANYTHING to your teeth!

Horrible! I would never ever go back to him again. I went there with a tooth ache. He didn't even look at it. Instead, after my cleaning, I had to watch video for 10mins about new crown procedures that I don't think was necessary. After I finally got Dr attention, he told me that there is nothing he can do to help me with my pain. He send me to see a specialist!!! I decided to go to see second opinion couple days later and second doctor told me that all it was a little infection in my gum that was treated right there in the office. If I would've listen to Dr. Parker, it would cost me fortune to fix my little pain. That was the last time I visited Sq. Hill office.

My first visit was quite pleasant the hygienist I met with was friendly and gentle. I received the add for Lumineers in the mail with my before and after pics. I returned for a cleaning. I arrived 15 minutes early and was seen 15 minutes late. Since I work the night shift this is like seeing the dentist at 8 pm if you work 9-5pm. She was very rough, not apologetic, and seemed to resent having to do the work. She was clumsy and knocked the x-ray equipment into my face without comment. Then I was presented with the Lumineers pictures again! The doctor met with me and asked me what did I want to do? I was very confused. this is not a hair cut this is my dental care. I expressed that I wanted a temp crown replaced. He explained all the things he thought I should do and admitted that the cost would be about the same as buying a car. I explained that I don't even have a car. I wanted the necessary dental treatment, covered by my insurance, and wanted it to look as good as possible. When he realized I didn't have the money for the expensive care especially the Lumineers he lost interest in my care. He ordered the crown without considering what else needed down on either side. I will not be returning. I am going to a dentist in a community that is less affluent and has a realistic understanding of what the average person can pay.

He always thinks he is right and never wrong, as from what i hear from his staff talking in the hallway. There have been many of times where i have gone to get my teeth clean and i had to wait in the chair for at least 20 min for him to come for my check up. He was very rude to the hygentist and made her take my xrays over agian because they were apparently not good enough. All my children come to this man, and belive me when i say we are looking for another dentist who will not get so impatient with my kids. Do NOT, I REPEAT do NOT come to this dentist.

Dr. Parker has a clear handle on his practice. Everyone is aware of their part, and is trained to do an excellent job. I love this office because they are very efficient, it's in a great location, and the hygienist does a fabulous job at cleaning your teeth and really making you understand the importance of good dental habits. Dr. Parker only appears shortly, which isn't a bad thing because he just needs to verify what his assistant just did. The only negative thing about him (besides what the staff say about him while cleaning your teeth) is that he isn't a great dentist. If you have a cavity, do not get it filled by him. I'm not sure what he does wrong since I'm not a DMD, but I have never felt consistent pain in my tooth for as long after a cavity as I did when he filled one of my teeth. However, if are looking for a great place to get your teeth cleaned bi-annually, this is definitely the place.

I wasn't a personal patient of Dr. Mauro's, yet he seemed so nice. Dr. Parker on the other hand is busy, aloof, and pre-occupied as though he has too many things going on. His staff appears frustrated as they wait with patients in need of his services. I myself waited with a staff member well over twenty minutes, after my cleaning, for an exam, to be told additional x-rays would be needed. Unfortunately those x-rays could have been taken in the time I spent waiting.
I arrived for my appointment on time and was greeted by an employee ten minutes late, stating her apologies for the delay, that Dr. Parker needed additional tests from the patient before. I wonder, Does Dr. Parker have a set shedule that he adheres to? Or is his time all that is important?
When he came in for my exam, he presented with tacky jokes, maybe ice-breakers, that seemed inappropriate. The way he treated his assistant seemed almost degrading and condescending, as he ordered her to retrieve the items that he needed.
Upon my exit, he was rushing from room to room frenzied, as though he didn't know where to go next.
My review of this dentist is poor. The office seemed hectic and in disarray. I won't be returning.

I agree with Zoe when she says they have great hours, and a great office. I 100% agree. HOWEVER-----I have found Dr. Parker to be lacking personality, not at all sensitive to the patient's needs, and ridiculously ROUGH! And I've been with him for 9 whole years!!!! There have been times when I have yelled out in pain during a root canal, and he says, "Just hold on! It'll only be a second more!" And he keeps on drilling for MINUTES, rather than stopping to give me more novacaine. Didn't care. I have given him MANY chances over the years, because he does have a nice office, and great hours. Finally, the camel's back has broken for me--he tried to pull my son's SEMI-loose tooth out without warning him, giving him a numbing agent, or responding to him when he cried! My son was bleeding all over the place, and Dr. Parker just walked out of the office without even checking to see if my son was ok. I guess he was miffed at my son for crying. THAT'S IT. I'm done. I've been way too forgiving.

Never had any major work done, mainly regular checkups/cleanings. Friendly staff does all the heavy lifting, doctor spends very little time (5 minutes, maybe) with patient.

I have been a patient of this office for four years. My first visit was an emergency visit, and I've been hooked ever since. Dr. Parker and his staff went above and beyond to work with me. They offer flexible office hours -- including evenings and weekends -- and payment schedules. Dr. Parker is an experienced, talented doctor and I would highly reccomend him!! Additionally, his staff is very friendly and remembers their patients. I always receive a friendlt welcome and they recognize my name when I call.

However, I would STRONGLY reccomend that you only be seen by Dr. Parker. Another doctor in his practice, Dr. Morrow, recieves my highest UNreccomendation. I would reccomend very highly that nobody go to him!!

PROS: Friendly doctor and staff. Flexible office hours.
CONS: Dr. Morrow

They offer flexible office hours -- including evenings and weekends -- and payment schedules. Dr. Parker is an experienced, talented doctor and I would highly reccomend him!!
