After reading the first review, I felt a little trepidation when entering the office. However, I was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful staff. My examination began right on schedule and only minutes later a very personable optometrist was present. I found the office to be staffed with curteous and efficient people who helped me to select frames and fit me for glasses. Unasked, a staff member ran numbers to compare the store's current promotions to my cost with insurance to find me the best deal. Overall, I was very pleased with my visit there.

I don't usually write reviews, but my experience here was so universally bad, that I felt compelled to find a way to express my problems. First, let's talk about service. I had a scheduled appointment but still a simple eye exam and contact fitting took 1 hour and 40 minutes from the point that I entered the store 5 minutes early for my appointment. I was continually left to sit with no attendance and no activity. Later, I tried to call back and asked for a copy of my prescription. I told them what I wanted, was put on hold for 10 minutes, told someone else what I wanted and was put on hold again. 10 minutes later I was told they couldn't find my file but would call me back and took down both my fax and cell phone number. They never called back and never faxed the file.
Now let's talk about quality. Instead of the doctor doing some of the exams they had front desk staff doing things. The doctor didn't seem the least bit interested in any concerns that I had. I have a contact that I like and I chose it after several brands because I previously had comfort issues. The doctor told me that it was discontinued and put me in a differnent brand. I later went on the net and found that my brand was not discontinued and that his recommended brand was one of the cheapest in the industry. I'm on a co-pay so I strongly suspected that their was some fishiness in the recommendation.
Overall just a completely terrible experience I would never go back.

Dr. Kraft is excellent but it is a mystery where they get their staff. They don't answer phones, or if they do you get put on hold. They cannot make decisions on their own and they make getting refills of contacts a real challange. I agree, Dr. Kraft makes it worth the pain but htere has got to be a better way.

The staff is horrible and expects you to know how their business processes work when speaking with them - and then make you feel like an idiot if you don't know. Not helpful at all. Dr. Kraft is the best I have seen in the past few years and is the only reason I suck it up and walk into that office.
