.

I had a face laser treatment and zeltiq for the abdominal. The laser sure removes layers of the skin more effective than, for instance, chemical peeling. However, there is no reason to believe that the laser procedures on your face can work the way a surgery does for reducing wrinkles. This is not how it is. Only deep removal of the top layers of skin can be expected with a logical result a new skin will grow. Doctor had his appearance in the news and sounded that his procedure can replace a surgery. Laser can only remove the layers and, yes, the new skin will be smoother, but nothing can remove the wrinkles. I didn??t count on wrinkle removal, but expected to have the doctor-patient talk at least for 5 minutes; the point is I didn??t have it: he gave me a minute only. The procedure was not cheap so I felt like an object for meeting my credit card. On the broadcasting doctor promised that the procedure is the one you can have during a lunch time. Doctor assured that after applying make up there are no reasons not to return back to work. We all know that the ??doctors?? world? is not always a real world, so I took a day way off and recommend to do so to everyone. The whole procedure including waiting time, taking pictures, and etc. takes much more time than a regular lunch. Besides, after the procedure I believe nobody is able simply get up and go, not to mention to put a make up: the face is burning unbearably and looks like been horribly got burned. The procedure is serious and only after I realized how the doctor was untruthful. His inattentive demeanor was very disappointing with the promises of easy recovery. Please be aware that the burning sensation lasts for at least four hours and it is not possible to work or focus on anything else except the burning. Doctor never mentioned on TV or while in the office: the procedure is hard on all body. After the procedure the staff recommended antibiotics, and after three days later I learned, why. The staff assured of contacting my pharmacy for filling the prescription, however, when I got there, the pharmacist said that nobody called. From my experience: antibiotic is necessary as I learned the pressure of the laser for the healthy immune system is tremendous. Unfortunately, doctor didn??t consider necessary to tell me or on television about how its really is. I am very discouraged to go back to his office.
Yes, Zeltiq is not a surgery, and its very appealing. However, the procedure doesn??t melt fat as it has been promised. From my experience, to get at least 200 ounces of fat, I believe, nor less than 10 sessions need to be completed. I wish I was so rich, and I am not being skeptical: the procedure is high priced. If money is not an issue, then there is a chance to try to get rid off of fat without a knife, but it will take many sessions with no guarantee the result will be desirable. After two procedures on two different areas of the abdomen (they were done one by one during one appointment) after over a two month I got two spots a size of a of a lentil deep. That was the result.
