Hi all I just read these reviews and I wanted to give a heads up to all there are TWO Nancy Douglas's that are nurses here in Seattle. I happen to be the other one and work at Harborview. I am sad that someone with the same name has had such poor reviews and I would hope my care would be rated much better. I very much care about my patients and love my job. I believe this Nancy Douglas is a nurse practitioner. I am a Registered Nurse

What can I say? It's not a fully functioning hospital, nor is it a magical clinic that will "expecto patronum" your pains away. However, I came down with a sinus infection that scared me, and I was within walking distance at the time. It

Ms. Nancy Douglas should lose her license. Shame on her for treating people with actual pain like junkies looking for a fix

i went in here bout 2 hrs after taking a fall with the most excrusiating pain in my lower back & leg & a migraine from the fall..wen the PHYSICIANS ASSISTANT came in she never even looked @ me..she had the meanest, most doubtful & judgemental scoul on her face..she asked me wut happened & b4 i ever finished she asked me how long prior it occurred as soon as i said 2 hrs she said-without ever checking or touching or testing me,never even looked @ my back-"well with it happen'n only 2hrs ago i cnt tell u n e thing,u probly jus have a spased muscle, back pain happens & there's nothing we can do about it,take sum ibprophen"...so i walked out on her & went 2 the plc i was try'n 2 avoid..the reason they have walk in clinics inthe 1st plc,THE ER..after b'n checked & tested & treated like a human..the diagnosis: bulging disc & sciatic nerve damage..FAR cry from a spased muscle...DO NOT GO HERE that woman shouldnt even b allowed 2 practice..its a joke!!

Even with an appointment, I had to wait over an hour to be seen. There were a few girls at the reception desk, one of them friendly and helpful, the other two cranky. The one dealing with my paperwork kept wiping her nose on her hand, licking her finger to flip through pages and then handing me a pen to sign on the dotted line....yuk. The one-star rating is for the hand sanitizer on the counter. Wouldn't go back unless it was an absolute necessity.

For those who knew the NP, Suzanne Adams, who was a personal friend of mine, she passed away and will be sorely missed by all her patients. Frankly, I stayed with CarePlus for my numerous medical issues, only because of Suzanne, however will go back again to seek out another NP she recommended to me before she passed away.
I've never had to wait long when I had an appointment and received prompt medical attention and tests with appropriate prescriptions. Regarding the post from another person saying they were treated badly when asking for pain meds, that was never my case. Because of my documented medical conditions I have always gotten prescriptions for pain without question. Yes, the costs are high, mostly for testing procedures and once when I complained they said they were switching testing facilities for that very reason, so we'll see how it goes. The front desk staff should be trained not to ask a patient what their problem is because everyone sitting there can hear you talking and it's not conductive to privacy and confidentiality. My answer was always, I'll discuss that with the Health Care Professional when I see them which was accepted by the staff. Because, I too, am a retired RN I always know the treatment I am getting is appropriate so I have no issues with treatment modalities. I was always treated with dignity and concern and recommend you go there if you need a medical issue addressed. However, if you're drug seeking, don't bother. The staff is well trained and easily recognizes those who try. If your pain is legitimate you won't have an issue with a prescription.

I sought urgent care treatment at the Kenmore facility. The providers there were kind, caring and professional. If they worked somewhere else, I would have no problem going back to them.

My troubles began though, when I received the bill for my treatment. The amount was several thousand dollars - even though I have exceptional health benefits. I called to see if I could get an explanation, and was told that my health insurance had denied my claims.

The only trouble is, I work for the company that provides my health benefits, and knew that the claims had long since been approved. Pretty shady. After much wrangling over the phone, I was told to disregard the first bill and that an adjusted bill would be sent.

An adjusted bill for a much more reasonable amount finally arrivedt. However, as I prepared to pay this bill, I noticed that a $3.00 ??rebilling fee? had been added to the amount I owed. Given the circumstances, charging a ??rebilling fee? was completely inappropriate. I called the office to ask that it be removed, but spent so much time on the phone arguing about it that I finally just decided to pay it so as not to waste any more of my time.

The coup de grace came two months later. After paying the billed amount in full, a third bill arrived. This bill did reflect the amount I had paid. However, it erroneously indicated a previous balance that was completely different than the amount on the previous bill They tried to charge me the difference, plus yet another ??rebilling fee? of $3.

Thank goodness I keep good records, or they might have gone on playing games with my bill forever. I don't mind people making mistakes - at least when they're honest ones. But this was so blatantly dishonest it was laughable.

I've been under going a battle with UTI's for awhile now I believe since October. Ms. Adams is always very caring and kind with her words. But what makes this clinic better then most is they don't talk to you in the big medical lingo they translate it so it's something you can understand without even asking. The staff always seems very kind and happy to be there. Well, here's the biggy when it come to money and insurance there about helping; meaning they don't only want your money. For example I owed some money to the clinic and they created a low payment plan that I pay monthly with out any problem. I really suggest you come and check this place out.

When I go to CarePlus, I prefer to see Morgan. She has taken care of several of my injuries and treated some pre cancer spots on my skin. She is always very upbeat, and I appreciate that. The staff that she works with are very efficient, and very caring. I always feel well cared for by all who work there.

Suzanne Adams, while suffering with cancer, is always kind, caring and attentive when I speak. She battles her disease with Grace and has love in her heart for her fellow man. We could all look to her as a shining example of how to face life's trials. She treats me as though I am the most important person in her life, and that my medical problem is of great concern to her. I trust that she will take excellent care of me.

I went to Care Plus because I got sick over the weekend and my regular doctor wasn't open. I got the info from a friend of mine. Since a lot of places no longer take my insurance I was a little worried but they said no problem. I went in on a Saturday afternoon (expecting a looooong wait) and there was only one person ahead of me. I was in and out within 45 minutes and on my way. I will definitely go back if I have a need to-especially on the weekend!

If you have any symptons that include pain then avoid this place like the plauge...they treat everyone like a pain pill seeker...the physician and nurse didn't even give me a chance to explain myself ..there mind was already made up when they thought they wouldn't get paid..I had to leave and go right to the emergency ward at Northwest where I was treated with dignity and respect...I called the office manager to complain but she didn't have enough respect to even return a phone call....what a joke.

Don't go here, I went yesterday due to a hurt knee, but what should have been an in and out visit took 3 hours, due to the nurse leaving the room constantly, and making me wait about 15 to 20 minutes each time, and today I went in for a physical I had an appt at 3, they saw me in at 2:45 I came in, she took my vitals, etc it is now 3:50 and I am still waiting for the doctor to come in....stay clear of this clinic

I'm not sure why the other reviewers gave such poor reviews of this clinic, but I have had two good experiences going there. Both times, they seated me promptly and showed me respect and professionalism. They gave me the care I expected from a limited clinic setting. (Oh, and by the way, a fracture IS a "broken arm," it is just not a clean break where the two pieces separate. I'm in the medical field)

Do not, I repaet do not use this clinic! Very unprofessional, Front office staff cuss and RNP's are not qualified to treat the common cold. Don't throw your hard earned money away!

I went to this walk in clinic when I deeply cut my finger and couldn't get the bleeding to stop. I was put into the back room and told to put pressure on my finger. After about 35-45 minutes, a doctor looked at my finger and told me to still put pressure on it. The doctor peeked on my several times but after nearly 3 hours of putting pressure on my finger, I was told to go home and if the bleeding didn't stop in a couple of hours to go to the emergency room. I didn't get any treatment whatsoever at this clinic so I wasn't too pleased and did have to go to the emergency room later on.

This is an awful clinic - the only good thing about it is its late hours. Otherwise, there are no doctors on staff, the nurses are rude and inept idiots (especially Susanne Adams), and the staff just wants to get you out as soon as possible so they can leave. They also misdiagnosed my friend for having a broken arm, when it was just a fracture. I had a terrible experience there and I highly suggest going to another clinic.

As I entered with a legitimate medical problem, I expected the standard welcome of "What is it? Why have you waited? Fill out these forms. Can you take a seat?" Hours of my time (unimportant to the average clinic) are on the verge of loss.
This was a truly different experience. The administrative people were very caring, friendly and professional. I believe they were concerned about my well-being. Appointments were timely. As a business man, I appreciate ability and respect professionals. Thank you.
I met only one doctor. She's a cardiologist that has stolen my heart.
