Terrible, terrible terrible doctor. Old grumpy and ugly office. He didn't explain what I had besides saying the name, exezema. Then when i asked about my pimples he kept repeating that I was a pimple popper and that I have bad skin b/c of that (I really don't pop them). Don't expect any smiles and warm words. He doesn't listen to what you have to say. I tried to explain that the rash happened after I applied over the counter medication and he just said, it was caused by "you applying weird creams you got over the internet". He may know about rashes but it was a very very unpleasant experience and truly NOT HELPFUL. He did accept my insurance so that's a good, but you couldn't pay me to go go back to him. Just don't waste your time.

I developed a skin condition and I wanted to see the nearest doctor to me as soon as possible. I Googled for the nearest doctor around my area and Dr. Solowey Carl came as the closest to my neighborhood. I called to make an appointment and it was hastle free! The problems accord just when I got there.

1st, when I arrived, the lady at the front desk was very unorganized, a little rude and just very distraught - she was an older lady in her 50's. She had me wait for 40 minutes in the waiting room even though my apt was for 4:15pm. At 4:55pm, I went into the doctors office which looked something like an operating room from the 80's with old outdated doctors furniture and I just felt a bit uncomfortable. Sitting in this office, I realized that I was going to be there for a long time because he had a patient before me.... I'm glad I brought the magazine from the waiting area with me because I waited in the doctors office for more than 45 MINUTES sitting by myself wondering WTF is going on! So the doctor comes in, he greets me (in his upper 60's) and we begin the session. TO make a long story short, I walked out of there with 3 prescriptions and my visit lasted a mere 15 minutes. All he did was put a magnifying glass on my skin for a few seconds and that was it. The amount of information I got from him, I already researched myself on the internet prior to going in there and wasting two hours of my time....

OH, I almost forgot. Just before I leave, he says "this visit is $75.00" and you can give it to me. WHAT? Who gives cold hard cash to the DOCTOR that is examining you? Isn't that just ridiculous and unprofessional?

I would NOT recommend this facility to anyone!

This is a great dermatologist. They specialize in diseases of skin, hair and nails. The office is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and try to help you in any way possible.
