I have been trying to get my medical records from Dr Carmona-Keller for the past 3 months, to no avail. She has closed her practice in Canonsburg and is apparently practicing with East Liverpool Professionals LLC in Ohio. I have called numerous times, sent a letter from my attorney with a release and still no medical records. What a completely unprofessional attitude! I have been informed that there a many former patients of hers having the same problem.

The survey asks me to rate the friendliness and courtesy of the office staff and I said poor. But may I point out that I did really like the nurse that came beforehand although I was not given any kind of intruction she was friendly and I did like her personality however that was the only thing I remotely liked about my visit.
First, let me explain that I have never been to the gynecologist before this apointment. I searched around for doctors and found that she was recommended by a friend of a friend. However, I wil never recommend her to someone else. I made an appointment and I was extremely nervous. I specifically called and asked if they did diaphragm fitting and was told yes but that I would have to have a pap test beforehand. I agreed reluctantly because there are reasons that I have never had one. I asked if there was anyway for me to bypass that and if there was a law stating that I coul not be fitted for a dipragm they said no but I wouldn't find a doctor that wouldn't. So I again reluctantly agreed and made an appointment.
The apppointment was in the afternoon and I was worried about it all day. Early that morning my fiance called me and told me that I had left my wallet in his car. He was at work a couple hours away. I called gynesolo before heading off asking them if I needed to go, if I could just pay with a check and if I needed an id. They told me yes I could pay with a check and to just come on in and don't worry about. However, when I got there the lady at the desk told me that she hadn't looked to see if I was a new patient and they couldn't accept checks and they wouldn't make exceptions. I was fumming not only had I called but I had also drove all that way for nothing. I live about forty minutes from the office.
I then proceeded to make another appointment with them. I didn't want to but my fiance said that I had already filled out the paperwork knew where it was and afterall it wasn't the doctor's mistake but the office workers. So I made another appointment. Mind you I want to point out again I made an appointment to have a diaphragm fitting.
I drove again forty minutes to the office. I was brought back twenty minutes after my apopointment time and was left alone in the room for a couple minutes. Then a nurse came in. The nurse discussed some stuff with me about my paperwork however she told me nothing of the process when I'm pretty sure that I read all through my research that everyone is supposed to do that that most doctors do. However I was not told.
I was then told to change my clothes and the doctor came in barely said much to me and did a breast examine and I pap smear. I did a lot of research and I knew these were both supposed to happen. But I would like to point out that they had my medical history and were aware that I had never been as far as they knew I could have thought I just got molested. I was already uncomfortable.
The doctor then proceeded to tell me that they do not produce diapragms anymore. Obviously, she is a doctor so naturally my first instinct was to believe her. I then asked her what she suggested I do instead that I didn't want anything that had hormones in it. She said condoms. THen without saying goodbye or that I was done both of them left me in strirrups and never came back. After a couple minutes I realized that I was apparently done and they weren't coming back. I looked around the room as I was getting dressed and saw charts on the walls and saw birth control charts listing you guessed it diaprhrams. I started to wonder. I was more than fuming. I was furious. I walked out and asked if I was done and they said yes and again I waited for a have a great day goodbye....nothing.
On the forty minute ride home I called a couple of the doctors that I personally know and I called some gynecologist offices and also asked them. I called and left a message at Gynesolo because their machine say they were closed. When they finally called me back I had a rather rude conversation with the lady at the desk as she proceeded to tell me that diaphragms were not produced because their patients told them they weren't and that she didn't know what to tell me. That was three weeks ago and I have yet to receive an answer even though I left a message for the Dr Karmona-keller twice. Then my results from my pap smear test came back, a bill for eighty dollars AND she did it wrong. She didn't collect enough needless to say I am not paying it.
I just wish to warn you and help make people aware that her website isn't true and I hoped that I helped someone avoid the situation I'm in, out 200 dollars and I never recieved what I made my appointment for in the first place even though I was promised it. Now my fiance and I have two in a half weeks to decide what we are going to do for birth control on our honeymoon.

I visited Dr. Diana Carmona-Keller twice within the past year. I am new to the area and chose this doctor because of the convenience of the office location. I first went to see Dr. Carmona for my annual pap smear. I informed Dr. Carmona that I had been trying to conceive for over a year and asked if she offered fertility testing and what the process entailed. She asked if my insurance covered fertility testing and/or fertility treatment. When I didn??t know, she insulted me by saying ??obviously that would be the first step,? and didn??t offer to call my insurance for me. She also seemed to disapprove when she found out that the medical records I had faxed over did not include one visit to a different OBGYN when my prior OBGYN had a stroke.
On my second visit, I had a fertility consultation. My husband and I have not used contraceptives for over a year and a half, and haven??t become pregnant. I haven??t been tracking my ovulation regularly, because I expected to become pregnant without having to go to extreme measures. However, when I didn??t conceive, I still wanted to get evaluated to ensure there was nothing wrong. Dr. Carmona criticized and lectured me for not doing a better job at tracking my cycle and ovulation. I informed her that I purchased an Ova Cue fertility monitor, and had just begun using it. In a very critical demeanor, she asked me what the Ova Cue tested for. When I told her I thought it checked for electrolytes in saliva, she informed me that the only way to confirm ovulation was by detecting the luteinizing hormone (LH). She scolded me for not learning more about the product I purchased (although I am no doctor). While I appreciated the information, she came across very harsh and insulting. Because Dr. Carmona doesn??t offer any of the fertility tests at her office, my husband and I were given forms to take to my local hospital for testing. One of the tests required pre-authorization. When I called my insurance company, they informed me that the pre-authorization form had to be completed by Dr. Carmona.
I decided to delay the testing until I found another doctor. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. CARMONA BECAUSE I FOUND HER VERY OFFENSIVE. Also, she doesn??t offer fertility testing at the office. And, I??m sure she up charges you to read the tests that are taken elsewhere. So, I felt like they should at least contact your insurance or the testing site to make arrangements for you. WHY PAY MORE AND RECEIVE LESS SERVICE???
