Dr. Hanson is the 3rd psychiatrist I've been to over the past 15 years and definitely the worst experience I've had. After my first appointment, I was mildly satisfied-- not horrible, not great, just average. However, upon trying to schedule a follow up appointment, she and her assistant were incredibly rude and condescending. I would NEVER treat my clients the way I was treated by them. I have never posted a negative review online before, so I do this only to warn people to avoid her practice!

I agree with first review about only caring about money. I don't feel Dr. Hanson really understands depression that is more than just minor depression. She is very concerned with how much money she is getting from each patient to the point that when you bring the sheet in with how much you paid it is the first question she asks you. She got really upset over me not having to pay for one visit because I had overpaid. She did not like not getting money for a visit. She made a very big deal out of it. She was more worried about the money than about my symptoms. If you suffer from severe depression then you need to go to another doctor. Someone who is really caring and concerned about your health and not the bottom dollar.

This is the most unprofessional establishment I have ever been to. The Dr and her assistant actually were actually whispering about me while I sat in the waiting room for my initial meeting. - As if I could not hear them talking about me!

My visit was fully covered by my insurance, which they had already confirmed weeks in advance, with the exception of my copay. I was never told over the phone to bring a check with me to my visit for the 25 dollar copay. Since they dont accept debit cards or cash - the doctor actually refused to see me.

Let me get this straight - the doctor Refused to see me because I didnt have a check for my 25 Dollar co-pay and requested the invoice for the 25 dollars be sent to me? Seriously - refusing to see a new patient over a copay is going to hurt your reputation and your bottom line much more than the measly 25 USD you are so concerned of receiving.

Unprofessional, uncaring, inconsiderate, and old-fashioned. I would never trust a doctor who treats new patients in such an unprofessional manner. Patient files are kept in boxes all over the assistant's workspace.

I had to see the doctor chatting with a friend outside the building as I left - obviously chatting with a girlfriend was worth having lost a new patient. How can a doctor whose job is to help people be so careless and indifferent? She is a total joke

I've been seeing Dr. Hanson for a couple of years now. She's kind, supportive and perceptive. I've referred her to several friends.

Her office is clean and easy to access and her office support is professional and pleasant.

It's very hard to find a good doctor in this town that you can trust - and Dr. Hanson is one of those few.

I'm glad I've met her!

Dr. Hanson is the best psychiatrist I have ever had. She is very detailed and closley follows the effects of all meds she issues. She is friendly and very well versed in her field. If you get the chance to see her I greatly reccomend her.

PROS: Warm, Friendly, Knowledgeable
