Very disappointed because it was a waste of money and time! I paid him $385 for the first appointment and he offered to finance the remaining $3,600 with Capital One. The splint (mouth guard) in my mouth did nothing to help my bite and I spent a year going back and forth to the office for "adjustments" and nothing worked. Careful also with cosmetic dentist marketing themself like "experts with bite problems".A friend referred me to her orthodontist Dr.James Watson and I have had braces for a year and I am having awesome results! Since I have had the Custom Mask I find not only do I love it, but can't do without it. I take it on vacation, thru the airport security-I don't trust putting it in my check in luggage! What if something were to happen like my luggage getting lost-then where would I be? I have been to a dermatologist for laser treatment due to roseacia and she told me not to wear the mask because it may irritate my skin. So I have been without the mask for 3-4 days and I am missing it badly, I have been so very tired driving home from work, even after 8 hours sleep. I really notice a difference without my mask. I just got my mask adjusted and am looking forward to a good night's sleep again!

This is a complete and utter waste of time and money. Go to a good dentist instead.

First, the staff is snobby - you'll notice this when you call. He doesn't insurance and the first office visit is $400. On the first appointment, you'll get x-rays and a CAT scan, then they put you in a room and ask you the same questions you already spent 30 minutes filling out on the form. Then the doctor comes in, prescriptions in hand (no consultation yet) and gives me a line about how I have a small throat, which is causing me to wake up at night (he read that on the form) and therefore clench my teeth and cause strain on my jaw. He showed me images on the computer that meant absolutely nothing to me. The questionnaire and the nurse both failed to ask me why I woke up in the middle of the night - I wake up because I have to pee, I have a two year old and a chronic back problem. So the solution was for me to pay them $2,900 for a mouthpiece and physical therapy. Seriously. I told the nurse I could not afford to pay that, so she offered a credit card option and then asked me what I expected from the visit. I told her I was done and needed to leave, then I got up from the chair and she told me to sit back down and shut the door in my face and told me she had to go make copies. I sat down for a minute and thought, "this is ridiculous" and I got up and went to the front desk and told them I needed to pay and leave; of course they wouldn't let me pay because the nurse was busy doing something, so I told them to bill me and they said, "we don't do that". I told them I was sorry, but I had to go - I had been there for 3 hours and I left. Then the one of the staff called me and told me they would call the police department and file a report if I didn't return to the office within one hour to pay the $400 bill for the first office visit. I went home and did some research after and realized this guy just started a sleep research institute and is probably looking for his next victim. I feel totally scammed. By the way - a dentist can make the mouthpiece for about $1,000 (not $3,000).

The treatment I received has literally been a Godsend. I have suffered from headaches and jaw pain for years and Dr. Prehn worked with me until now I am 100 times better. Staff was very friendly and I am glad my dentist referred me to him. Although, I was off put by this office not accepting insurance, the staff worked with me in filing my paperwork and it worked out great. I was reimbursed 80%.

This office doesn't take insurance so be prepared to pay out of pocket. It's a Dentist billing for Medical procedures so most insurance denies it. High turn over in staff and once they get your initial payment it's very hard to get in for an adjustment or even follow up. The mouth piece works; however I paid over $3000 for it and was told it would last at least 5 years. After 2 1/2 years it has holes in it and is almost finished. The one I got from my dentist did the same thing for 1/10th the price. It's not worth your time and money.
