Entered ER around 3:30 am or so, give or take. 1) Dr. wanted to postpone emergency surgery to see his regularly scheduled patients because it didn't appear that I was in much pain. What he didn't take into account was my high pain tolerance-- more damage was occurring than he cared to recognize. He pointed out he had not yet slept due to an early morning delivery 2) Something came up & he pushed my surgery from 5pm to 10pm. Waited all day without food! I'm miserable! 3) This guy still hasn't slept. 10pm rolls around. I'm prepped to go into surgery. Nurses & anesthesiologist waiting.. & waiting. He's a no show. He fell asleep. Medical staff pissed & surgery room given to someone else. 4) Finally shows up. Surgery went well- props for that- but he wants to get home = he wants to sign my discharge papers so he can leave, even though I tell him I'm not ready & want to allow recovery time. He signs them anyway which means groggy barely functioning me gets the boot after having been out of surgery a 1/2 hour. Nurses protested, but could do nothing. 5) Tells me I can return to work in a week. Should be just fine. What he neglects to tell me is some women require a month to heal-- such was my case- it was painful to sneeze without crying. Most women I end up reading about need a month to recover. Never ever mentioned that. My pain tolerance was finally met. Totally brushing me off. Can't stand this doctor. He fixed me, but my tube ruptured from waiting so long. Could have bled to death. Will avoid like the plague unless he's the last doc avail!!!
