I have been a patient of Dr Stacy Gray for well over a year now. I've been to numerous chiropractors in the last 20 years, both in Raleigh and in New England. I have found her adjustments to be extremely sucessful for my lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine. This past April I experienced the most debilitating back injury in my life. I awoke with a feeling that my left upper back was out and would need an adjustment. Within an hour the pain became excruciating and I was experiencing numbness and tingling in my left arm. I went to an urgent care center and was diagnosed with muscle spasms. The pain exceeded anything I had ever experienced. The following day I saw Dr Gray, who diagnosed a pinched nerve. Due to extreme inflammation in the area of the injury, adjustments were very difficult. My primary care doctor referred me to a spine specialist who ordered an MRI. The findings revealed a large herniation at the C6-C7 level. It was recommended that I have immediate fusion surgery on the ruptured disc to avoid any permanent nerve damage to my left arm. I wasn't too happy with the prospect of such invasive surgery, and have done alot of research on the relatively poor success rate of spinal fusions. I had continued to see Dr Gray 3 times a week. Although progress was slow, the combination of regular adjustments, constant icing of the affected area and other therapy Dr Gray provided seemed to help. When Dr Gray reviewed my MRI she didn't feel the injury warranted surgery. We kept on a schedule of regular chiropractic intervention, and after approximately 6 weeks I had regained significant range-of-motion in my neck and reduction of pain in my neck/upper back. I still experience some numbness in my left thumb and index finger, but the pins and needles sensation has resolved. I cannot say enough about the care and treatment I've received from Dr Stacy Gray. She has been a Godsend for me. The entire staff at Gray Family Chiropractic is outstanding - very sincere and compassionate. I will continue to treat with Dr Gray for this issue (and any others that may arise) and hope to be able to return to work in the very near future. She has helped me avoid neck fusion surgery - and for that I will be eternally grateful! Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to see the best chiropractor in Raleigh - I guarantee she can help you!

Stacy Gray is a wonderful caring doctor!! She has always been so helpful and supportive to me and my family!! My teenage son sprained his ankle during cross country training and was very upset to have to sit out. Dr Gray treated him once and recommended follow up sessions. This was a big problem because 2 days later my son couldn't remember which ankle he had sprained! We are all very comfortable with Dr Gray and love that we see the same doctor all the time. Dr Gray works with us as far as insurance. When I was referred to her 11 years ago they said, "she is very caring and down to earth, she doesn't know she is a doctor". In 11 years she hasn't changed. Stacy does not hesitate to answer phone or do what is needed in the office. She gives excellent care. The office staff is ALWAYS pleasant, friendly, and professional! I would never dream of going somewhere else!
