.

This morning my 2 year old son was in extreme pain while peeing, so we took him to the urgent care to find out the cause.

I told the doctor while he was examining my sons penis not to forcibly retract him (he had my son's penis in his hands at this point) and the doctor yelled at me and then immediately retracted my son's foreskin saying that was the only way to check him out properly... While my son screamed helplessly in his hands becuase the doctor just ripped the foresking from his glans penis. FWY - the foreskin in young boys is attached to the glans the way the fingernail is attached to your finger? only with 100x the nerve endings and way more sensitive. This doctor just ripped it off in the name of "proper medical care". He should have his license revoked.

This kind of action causes permanent damage and comprimises the immunse system that is built into the young boy's penis.

I almost decked the a**hole (he wasn't an a**hole in my mind until he
blatantly disregarded my demand and permanently injured my son).

The doctor already had a urine sample tested when he walked in and already knew it was a yeast infection and not a UTI... And he still ripped my sons foreskin from the glans saying that this was required to propertly see the infection.

I should have immediately taken my son from him and walked out, but I didn't out of fear of not knowing what was wrong with my son and not getting to find out the cause of my son's pain - I really should have just left and gone to see a doctor more studied in the foreskin.

Here is just a short list of articles that go over the permanent damage that is done when someone forcible retracts a young boys forskin, including several statements from Doctors with over 30 years of foreskin study who say that forcible retraction is "NEVER medically necessary - EVER."
