Pros: Free parking

Dr Doubleday was able to correctly diagnose and treat my skin disease after doing a skin biopsy on my first visit. Several other dermatologists were not able to fix my problem. He has great medical knowledge and is abe to diagnose and treat both common and rare skin disorders. I highly recommend this dermatologist!

I recently attended an open house at Dr. Doubleday's office as a guest. I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and comraderie between the staff and patients. I have since had my first appointment as a patient and was happy to have all my concerns met to my great satisfaction.

I have been a patient of Dr. Doubleday's for over 3 years now and I would also have to strongly dissagree with the previous reviews. Before I came to see Dr. Doubleday I had seen several other Dermatologists that were unable to improve my condition. Dr. Doubleday's diagnosis was quick, confident and followed by an immediate path to treatment. I appreciate that Dr. Doubleday explains how to use the medications that he prescribes. I never feel rushed or confused when i leave his office. I can confidently say that I have never before had the quality of care and treatment that Dr. Doubleday provides. I will certainly continue to vist Dr. Doubleday for all of my skincare needs and would highly recommend him to anyone.

I have visited his officer several times for a skin condition. As for the previous review stating he is arrogant I would strongly dissagree. He is knowlegable and compationate. He has improved my lifestyle 10 fold.

I left his office feeling upset because he refused to help me if I didn't want to get an injection. Said that he couldn't help me so I left there no better off. He didn't take the time to listen to my past experience with this treatment. He's a terribly arrogant doctor and I wasted $30 and an hour of my time. I will never recommend him to anyone. The worst doctor experience in my adult life. I've only heard of arrogant doctors like him.

If you visit this physician pray that all goes smoothly, if you should question any of their practices he and his administrative staff will go out of their way to dehumanize and humility you instead of providing anything that resembles care. Recommendation: Seek out another dermatologist that behaves professionally and insists their support staff do the same.

I went to see Dr. Doubleday as a new patient for a condition I have had for my entire life. I went to see him because I couldn't get into my regular doctor quickly and I didn't want my condition to get worse. I know exactly what procedure I need for my condition as I have tried everything in the world for this problem over the years and only one treatment works. Dr. Doubleday acted as if my condition was nothing and told me I should take vitamins (duh, if it was that easy why would I be here getting injections). He would not perform the procedure to the fullest extent. My treatment involves getting injections in multiple areas and when he only did one large area, I asked him to do the other area so it wouldn't get worse and he said "No, I don't want to plus I already threw away the syringe". I was in tears when I left his office. I can't believe that he was so arrogant, rude, unconcerned for my wellbeing, and obviously cheap if he couldn't open another syringe! To add insult to injury, my insurance has always paid for my injections in the past. Of course they aren't covering Dr. Doubleday's charges. I should have known since he told me the insurance didn't usually pay for the injections and I told him that they always have in the past. I received statements but hadn't paid them because I have been trying to figure out why the insurance isn't paying...well today I got a letter from a collection agency. This is ridiculous. The lady from the office called me once regarding payment and was very rude when I told her I was trying to figure out why the insurance hasn't paid since they always paid the other doctor's charges in the past. Unfortunately I don't think my problem was worth his time, maybe if I got Botox or some expensive cosmetic procedure then he would have been a nicer man. I will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER go back to him again or refer anyone I know to him (and I have friends with money who could afford his expensive cosmetic treatments).

I was referred to Dr. Doubleday because my regular dermatologist - who is wonderful - Dr. Eliazbeth Mulluns, had nothing available the week I needed to be seen. I waited a long time, as others have said, but I didn't mind since they fit me in within three days which I appreciated. But my first red flag was with the paperwork. As a new patient you'd think they'd be inquiring about my health problems, any past history or family history of skin cancer but no, this dermatologist is only interested in cosmetic procedures, not about the patients' health. I didn't like how I had written why i was there and the medical assistant didn't bother looking at it and asked me why I was there, and then when the doctor came in, he asked me why I was there. Apparently these people can't read or don't care. I felt like a number and since I was not there for Botox or a chemical peel, I was made to feel like I was wasting their time. I was there because I had just had a staph infection on my chin and a new cyst formed which I was concerned about since the last cyst became infected, so I wanted to get it injected. Dr. Doubleday didn't believe that I just had a staph infection even though I had a blatant scar and the skin still hadn't come back from this flesh eating bacteria. He squeezed my skin which was unnecessary and I told him in advance that I was allergic to just about everything topical and have extreme sensitive skin so I don't know why he squeezed my skin and that, along with the injection, which he did poorly, caused a massive bruise on my chin which two weeks later looks worse. He made me look a million times worse, which defeats the purpose of my going there, and he should be held liable for his actions. He has no clue as to what he's doing when it comes to basic dermatology issues. He was rude, unfriendly, had no personality and made me feel like I didn't belong there. I wish I never went because now I can't cover this huge bruise and it's embarrassing. dd stinks

I went to see Dr. Doubleday with the referral of my mother, who had visited a few times. She had previously mentioned how she didn't like the staff, but continued to go anyway because of the excellence of Dr. Doubleday. My appointment was at 9AM, but it was not until 10AM that my name was called to just go into a room. As a new patient, I expected it to take longer... but not that long, especially at the beginning of the day. The "office manager" was extremely rude and looked my mother and I up and down as she was taking us to the room. She seemed really irritated about having to deal with us. Then she started asking me questions, which I had already answered on all the paperwork that I had filled out, which was right in front of her. She was not pleasant or apologetic about us having to wait so long.

When my mother asked how long the procedure would take, she snapped and rudely said something along the lines of "Well I haven't even looked to see what you are having done today so I can't tell you!" I must reiterate that this was said in a rude, almost condescending way. To sum it all up, my mother and I left before seeing the doctor, as we felt like they obviously didn't have it together enough to properly take care of us, and will be seeing another dermatologist that can get to us on time, or at the very least be polite and apologetic for being late.

I will say that the lady that worked the front desk who checked us in was extremely polite, but the lady who called herself the office manager was unprofessional and has no clue what customer service is. I am sorry that this lady is in charge, she does not to justice to Dr. Doubleday.
