We had a VERY bad experience with Dr. Marmon (and Shady Grove Hospital) post-appendicitis surgery by Dr. Marmon. He did not recognize or did not care to recognize obvious signs of increasing illness. He was very difficult to talk to and never did acknowledge our accurate concerns. We ultimately moved my son to Childrens Hospital where he immediately received excellent care. We should have done this sooner, but I trusted my pediatrician's recomendation which turned out to be a BIG mistake.

Dr. Marmon was very helpful and provided detailed information during our appointment for our son to get a circumsion. However, the difficulty in making the appointment and negative attitude from his staff cannot compensate for his staff poor behavior. I had to call the hospital where Dr. Marmon is in charge to request an appointment instead of his office. The staff at Children's Hospital is top notch and more than helpful in dealing with Dr. Marmon's office staff. As the customer and the parent of the patient, I expected to be treated with respect instead I was spoken to in a condescending manner. The appointment/scheduler person acts as if she is the gatekeeper and in the three conversations I had with her, she has been rude to the point of hostility each time without any cause.
