It was a total disaster with her. Recently I switched dentists, and started to see her. After cleaning, she pressured me to have a crown and replace two fillings for the teeth which did not bother me at all. I could chew, eat anything, and drink cold drinks. There are more teeth she wanted to do, but she wanted to start with the three teeth first. After that, my teeth started to hurt so much, so I cancelled the next appointment for other teeth. She prescribed me painkillers and anti-biotic. One good thing is that I cancelled the appointment for the other teeth. She wanted to refer me to a specialist for root canal treatment for those teeth, she did not have any idea which tooth causes pains.

-She is not as experienced as she tells people.
-Her assistants are not experienced as her. I took x-ray for the same tooth twice many times. One assistant tried three times to cast a crown.
-Its x-ray equipment is out-dated, their x-ray is so dim. And she make decisions with that x-rays to drill or have a crown.
-She scared me saying the tooth can be broken at any time and other teeth might have a big cavity (even if it does not show on x-ray), so that I cannot even have a crown later. Now I am thinking since those teeth still have root canal, if cavity is getting serious I would probably have toothaches, which I didn't have until I walked into her office. What a scare tactics!
-She drilled too much for the new fillings to interrupt its nerve. These teeth started to hurt after fillings. It is still part of her inexperience. My previous dentist compared before and after x-ray and was so surprised she drilled too much for the teeth without cavity. I guess she planned to scare me to have crowns for those teeth later.
-Her attitudes towards patients: pain? take pills, still pains? take more pills, still pains? go remove root canal. It is so simple for her after making money for crowns and fillings, she was so eager to refer me to a specialist when I was picking up my x-ray to go another dentist.
-She lies about everything. If your teeth do not hurt, why bother drill and replace? And you still trusted your dentist's decisions, it turned badly. Can you still trust her?
-Its office is dead-silent with no clients. There must be good reasons when office is so empty.

My teeth got very sensitive from pain killers and anti-biotic she prescribed me for 10 days. I cannot chew with the crown from her, cannot eat sweet food cuz it started to hurt, cannot drink cold/hot drinks any more. Does it make sense I earned all the pains and inconveniences from trusting Dr. Cho's decisions? I spent lots of money, went through painful procedures, endured a lot of inconveniences from having a crown. And she used almost 50% of my yearly dental coverage for this. Cannot wait to see her office is closed.
