I had to receive a colonoscopy and I went to Dr. Choi and am so glad that I did. His level of expertise, care, and helpfulness are unmatched. This was a rather sensitive visit for me but he made me feel at ease with this excellent bedside manner. Even in follow up visits, his demeanor was always caring and polite. His staff is wonderful and his office is kept in great condition. I would recommend this doctor to everyone, hands down the best experience in a medical facility that I have ever had.

I was very impressed with the affordable price of the colonoscopy and the efficiency of the staff at the Endoscopy Center. Dr. Choi is very thorough and detailed and I felt very fortunate to find such a well qualified physician to perform my colonoscopy. Every step of the procedure went very smooth and I was very relieved that I got a good report. I would recommed Dr. Choi to anyone seeking a well qualified Doctor and Staff to perform their colonoscopy.
There were no hidden charges added to the total fee of $600.00 for the procedure including the consultation.

Although I knew that I really needed to have colonoscopy when I turned 50, I had been putting it off for sometime. The main reason for deferring was money. I have a very high deductible for my insurance, and the expense of several thousand dollars to have it done was not something that my budget could easily accomodate.

Thankfully, I found Dr. Choi through internet. Although I was skeptical at first, I decided to give him a try after going through his website (www.laendo.net) and reading through his credential, articles, and videos.

The entire process of making the appointment, seeing Dr. Choi for an initial consultation, undergoing a complete physical examination, and having the actual colonoscopy examination was done professionally and efficiently. I was really pleased and impressed with the whole process.

Although I needed to have a colonoscopy, I could not afford the gastroenterologist my doc recommended. So, I went online where I found Dr. Paul M. Choi. His website (www.laendo.net) was very helpful in steering me to go see him.
When I met him, I was astounded by his concern and thoroughness.. All I wanted was a colonoscopy, but he went over my entire medical history including tests over the past 5 years!!!. Following my initial exam, we set up for colonoscopy for the following week.
The colonoscopy itself went very smoothly. Despite my trepidation, I did not feel a thing. The only difficult part, as he notes in the video and preparation instruction, is the prep. The exam itself was piece of cake.

I know there are many out there who need to go have a colonoscopy, but are concerned about the quality of exam, or the cost of the procedure, as I did. I know Dr. Choi will provide the quality exam at an affordable price. He is the person to go see him, if you need to have colonoscopy.

I had not had a colonoscopy in 5 years and it was time for me to do a search for a new doctor because I was no longer a member of Kaiser Hospital. I was not looking forward to this because in the 80's I had worked for a medical laboratory and on a daily basis I use to visit some 40 doctors a day and got to see these doctors and their staff with shall I say, their hair down...meaning, we became fast friends and I got to see the real person that few patients got to see. Sometimes what I saw made me sick and even today I'm very suspicious of most doctors and there motives behind their practice.

So after doing a Google search I came up with Dr. Choi, made an appointment with his office and let me say here that all the money in the world couldn't get me to lie about what I'm about to say. This doctor has some of the most professional people working for him that I have ever come into contact with in the medical profession. Doctor Choi himself is a very caring and professional person even to people like me with no medical insurance at the moment. Got that, from what I've seen in my past this is truly a dedication that you will hardly get to see in this day and age.

My first visit went like this. Not much waiting or overbooking of patient's here. First off I was interviewed by a nurse who wanted to know every little detail about by medical past. Next and with not much waiting I was brought into the doctor's office for an interview where he told me what his procedure were for a colonocopy and what my cost would be and that he would also instruct his office staff to get my past medical records from Kaiser so he would have a better idea of what was done to me in the past. Next I was given clear instructions on what I had to do the day before my actual colonoscopy

My next visit was 2 weeks after that because Kaiser is very slow at sending out medical records.

I showed up at 7:00 a.m. as instructed and was quickly guided by a nurse who brought me to a dressing room with a locker and key for my personal belongings. Next I waited for my turn on a gurney covered with blankets to keep me warm and before I knew it I was recovering from this painless procedure. Next I was brought into the doctors office to find out my results. I was there a total of 3 hours not bad at all.

Before I left I was told by a nurse that I would be getting a phone call from the office the next day to make sure that I was Ok.

Just one more thing, if you are in need of a colonoscopy it's my hope that you meet up with a doctor and staff just like this. These were my experiences with this office and I hope I'm of some help to anyone who reads this.

Many thanks to Dr. Choi. He is a highly qualified gastroenterologist who I recommend without reservation. If you're over 50, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with him for a colonoscopy. Because of his affordable examination, I found out that I have colon cancer. I owe this man my life for making this procedure available to me despite my financial hardship. He is to be commended for making high-quality medical care available to those who can least afford it. If only more doctors were like him.

Dr. Choi is simply the best out there. I went to see him because a close friend of mine recommended him Not only does he have outstanding credential (how can you beat Harvard Med?), but he obviously knows his stuff. He explained the procedure to him in ways that I could really understand and put me at ease. On the day of colonoscopy, I was a little nervous but he put me at ease. The exam went smoothly and I realized that I was anxious for no good reason. It was truly a fabulous experience for an examination that I dreaded for so long because of my family history. I truely felt good after having had my test wtih Dr. Choi and I cannot thank him enough. Thank you Dr. Choi!
