Dr. Chrisomalis-Valasiadis is a very committed doctor who did not 'get rid of her GHI patients' as some of you claim. She gave me months of warning that she needed to stop taking GHI and tried to help me find a new doctor. Do you people ever consider the costs to a doctor when we pay only $15 for her time and equipment? Not to mention the malpractice coverage excellent doctors have to pay for to protect them? Many doctors, GYNs and OBs in particular, have had to stop taking GHI. It is cheap for the patients, but does not treat the doctors fairly. Dr. Chrisomalis-Valasiadis is patient, caring and supportive. She gives out her cellphone to patients too so they can call or text her with questions. She will spend as much time as you need to feel comfortable with whatever is going on with you physically and keeps Saturday hours to accommodate patients who can't be there during her weekday hours. These are the qualities of a doctor who cares about her patients and loves what she does.
