Like everyone else here, I have to admit to waiting for hours sometimes to see Dr. Seeker -- BUT that is because is he delivering babies himself, and so none of us mind waiting. (Nurse appointments only were always on time -- and Dr. Seeker has a world-class team!) I had a c-section and he was so thoughtful, gentle, and kind. During all the appointments, he made me feel like I was the only patient he needed to see that day -- even though he always has a full roster. He is the best in town!

I went to Dr. Seeker for my first pregnancy, and was happy with him. He is very kind and tries to take the time to make each patient feel special, even though he is very busy.

My first pregnancy ended in a c-section because of complications. Right afterward, I asked about a VBAC for #2 and Dr. Seeker said I would be a great candidate. At my 8 week appointment for my second pregnancy, he said that he doesn't encourage VBACs and gave me some literature about them. He assured me that we had plenty of time to think about it and it was my decision. I saw him again at my 16 week appointment, and he wanted to schedule my repeat c-section. When I said that I had given it a lot of thought and wanted to have a VBAC, he informed me that actually the entire practice had voted to not do them anymore, because 1) Complications from VBAC are one of the major reasons doctors get sued, 2) There was a study done which showed that women are not satisfied with their VBAC experiences, and 3) He believes that the recovery and long term side effects of a vaginal birth are worse in general than those of a c-section. He told me that only a few doctors in the entire metro area will agree to attend VBACs now, and insinuated that these were basically "quacks."

I felt like I had been mislead by his original assurances that I could choose a VBAC if I wanted, and unfortunately lost a lot of respect for him. I ended up finding several practices that were VBAC friendly and switched to one of those. If you are ok with the "typical" birth and with a high likelihood of c/s (I've heard he has one of the highest rates in the area), he really is a kind man. I however, no longer felt like I could trust him with my medical care.

Dr. Seeker was recommended to me by several friends. He is great doctor and loves what he does. He took great care of me before, during, and after my pregnancy. I had some minor complications during delivery, and after being in surgery all day, he stayed with me through the end even though he wasn't on call. He also found a great specialist for me to take care of my other issues. I highly recommend him to everyone.
