Christopher J. Gudger, DDS

I called Dr. Gudger's office one day back in 2004 (maybe 2005?) after finding his name in the phonebook. I was in my early twenties and hadn't seen a dentist in a few years since I graduated from college and moved out on my own. One of my wisdom teeth had been coming in for a while and it finally had gotten to the point where it was time to call someone. Jana took my call and explained that they weren't open that day (they were doing some general cleaning, organization, etc.), but that if I could come over then, Dr. Gudger would be glad to take a look. I immediately left work and headed to their office (which is beautiful, by the way). Dr. Gudger took a look (for FREE), saw the tooth that was causing me problems, and scheduled me to come in for x-rays and to determine a plan of action.

Shortly thereafter Dr. Gudger removed my wisdom teeth, called to check on me the night of the extraction, and even gave me his cell phone number in case I had any problems over the weekend. It's now been close to 10 years and I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Gudger and his staff. I have my teeth cleaned by him on a regular basis, have had a few fillings, and even a partial crown (oopsy!), and I am one of the few people that will tell you I actually ENJOY going to the dentist!

Years ago, I needed to replace a nightguard that I had broken when I was a teenager, but I couldn't afford to pay to get a new one. They offered me a payment plan that let me make monthly payments with no interest as long as I paid it off within a year. It was awesome!

In the time that I've been a patient of Dr. Gudger, I have referred three people to him and they all feel the same way I do. If you're looking for a new dentist, definitely give Dr. Gudger's office a call! You won't be disappointed!

I had to get my wisdom teeth out .. No pain.. Highly recommend him to everyone.. Got my teeth cleaned here too and Terry did an awesome job.. I'm transferring my whole family here...

This office is a rip off. Under the guise of scaring me by saying I had gum disease, Dr. Gudger tried to pressure me into a very costly and painful under-gum treatment. Fortunately, I got a second opinion and found out it was all BS. This dentist is not to be trusted.

After years of putting off having my wisdom teeth pulled, I finally found a dentist I felt comfortable with. Dr Gudger, his wife and assistants are the most caring staff you will find. They truly go out of their way to help your every need. I am now wisdom teeth free!

I just saw someone had left a review for Dr. Grudger today and felt that it was finally time for me to leave a review.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grudger's since 2004 when we moved here. His office has gone through changes, just like my life has in 8 years I guess. Most have been good (1 visit crowns) and some have been ok (staff changes). Change is hard I know.

When I got laid off last year the interest free fianincing really came in handy. Just be sure to pay it off in time or you get hit with all that interest (credit cards). I am grateful that his office offers this as payment. I know my neighbors office you have to pay up front for dental work, ouch!

The best dental visit was when I experienced mild sedation for the first time. In the past I had gas but I had so much work to be done I chose mild sedation. No question it is the answer.

I'm grateful Dr. Grudger chose to be a dentist, and just not a average dentist, but a excellent top of the line, modern dentist.

Keep up the good customer service you provide to your patients. Continue to been natural and not phoney toward people. It felt genual and I will always come back.

I am a new patient to Dr. Gudger and staff and have received excellent consultation and dental care. The staff is very patient focused and keep you informed during procedures and provide options for your dental services. The staff is friendly and professional and make the visits into a good experience.

Dr. Gudger and his staff are a fantastic, welcoming, and professional bunch. I couldn't be happier - I feel like I have been looking for a good dentist my whole life and I finally found one! I especially love the fact that permanent crowns can be made in house during your appointment. I can't stress how important a good dental assistant is (my prior dentist was pretty good, but his assistant was awful), and you can tell this is a top priority to Dr. Gudger too.

Thank you all for being so wonderful. You have no idea how much I appreciate your kindness and patience, not to mention the pain free dental work. I feel excited to move forward with the additional work that I need, now that I have found. I will be referring many folks!

I enjoy the family feel to Dr.Gudger's practice. I'm always greeted as a friend, and not just a number. My teeth have improved a lot, and a look forward to many years at your practice!
Very impressed with the fact that you start your appointments at 7am which is very helpful when you have to go to work.

I was very happy with my experience. Everyone I spoke to was kind, friendly, and treated me like an adult. My previous dentist talked to me like I was a child, even though I'm 30 yrs old. They didn't make me feel bad for having cavities like my previous dentist did. Going to the dentist isn't exactly the most fun thing to do, but the way I was treated helped put me at ease. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone.

Cosmetic dentist. Do not go unless you want to pay an insane amount of money for things you don't actually need. I was told I needed crowns in every single tooth that had a cavity. All in all, I was about to be charged 12k. I went to two other places since then and both dentists laughed when I told them what I was told I needed. I did need some work, yes.. but not 12k worth.. more like 2k... and that was an estimate given by more than one dentist. The staff was extremely friendly, that is, up until I canceled my procedures (ahead of time). I also started recieving collection notices because the office had already charged me the 12k on a care credit account, that they advised me I use to pay for the procedure, and never requested to take the payment off. When I spoke to Care Credit directly, they had no history of the office ever submitting paperwork to remove the claim (this was at least 2 months later) and suggested I contact the office and if they still didn't submit the paperwork, to file a claim against them. The office was not too nice and much less helpful when I had to inquire about this paperwork. The response I was given was, "Well we just haven't gotten around to it yet. We're a busy office." I will never let anyone I care about ever go here.

Everytime I go to Dr. Grudger's office, I am more than delighted with the care and attention I get from EVRYONE!!! I would never change Dr. Grudger's office for anyone else!! The attention you get from the minute you walk through the door is priceless.

Dr. Gudger gave me an exam like none other.

Please note that I have been to several dentist here of lately and none of them never have taken pictures of my gums. Sure extras were taken!

My point is that upon my 2nd visit to Dr. Gudger he noticed a white mass on my lower right back portion of my gum. I'm not certain how long the mass have been there but I'm fortunately Dr. Gudger found it.

In closing I did some research on gum pain and most of the indications pointed to gum cancer as a possible result!

None of the previous dentist etc never raised gum cancer as a possibility!

Thank you for being such a great dentist!! I have told all my co-workers and freinds.

I just moved to the area and got a flyer in the mail. Usually I have asked neighbors for referrals, but since I was overdue for my cleaning I jumped on this offer and decided to try out Dr. Gudger.
Well, was I suprised and pleasantly suprised to say the least with this office.

It was super easy to get in, filled out paperwork on-line, and with-in the week I was in with an appointment.

I found Dr. Gudger and his staff to be knowlegable about my oral care and even got a tooth fixed that same day and left with my permant tooth, NO temporary 2 week crowns at this office, you get what you pay for the same day!!

The staff even called me a couple days later to check on my tooth. I was impresed with the high tech aspect of the office, but I as more impressed with the feeling that they really "care" about me and my mouth.

Two thumbs up for this office!!

Thanks guys, see you in 6 months!!

Everyone is office is personable, kind, friendly, and remember you from your last visit. Their service is ontime, fast, and the cleanings are not uncomfortable or painful. They do not push unnecessary procedures, but truely care about your oral health. Going every 6 months is a joy, not a chore! Thumbs up!

For the first time in over 15 years I ate a meal and did not have food stuck in between my crowns. What a wonderful feeling. Excellent job. I also loved getting a new crown and not having to wait several weeks and wear a temp while waiting. Great time saver...to just walk out with only one appointment. From a very satisfied patient

Friendly, considerate, strives to be painless. Have had MAJOR dental work. Would recommend sedation for extensive amounts of work. WONDERFUL when scaling, root canals, crowns and extractions are done and you do not feel it and recovery is very expediant. Dr Gudger and staff treat you like family. VERY caring. Great with using my insurance benefits and offering interest free plans. At each appointment they explain exactly what will be done, and during each procedure they make sure that you are 100% comfortable at all times. Thankful I found this office!!!

all the concerns i did have, no longer exist. Dr. Gudger is a knowledgeable, efficient and patient dentist; his staff are courteous and kind and his establishment is upscale and immaculate. My tooth feels better than ever!

It's amazing that my review from yesterday was removed. But that's ok, I will leave another one. My husband went to the office for a crown that now I'm not so sure he needed. He was also told he needed 2 additional crowns. The fee for a crown was $1385. I considered going to this dentist because I need someone in Raleigh. Now because of his experience, neither of us will have treatment there. Yes it is a nice office and the office staff is nice. But, be sure to get an estimate before agreeing to any work and get a second opinion to make sure you need what is recommended. This wasn't his first visit. He had been a patient since the office opened in 2003.

Also, we were asked to remove the negative comments and survey by Dr.Gudger. I don't think that being able to have a bad comment removed is fair. That's why customers are asked for their opinions, to have an accurate representation, whether good or bad. Since I have been a nurse for 19 years, I'm very familiar with patient satisfaction surverys. We have to deal with the bad surveys and try to improve our practices to improve our scores. We can't just have a negative survey removed because we don't like it.

Run unless you have lots of money or want a new Care credit card. Friendly staff, top notch equipment, great decor. Made me feel fabulous by being so friendly. I went in for a cleaning and x rays. They said I needed to come back and then gave me a print out with lots of work needed for a grand total of $1300 bucks after insurance. Oh and my time was up, no cleaning just exam and x rays for the day. I went for a second review elsewhere and got my cleaning and was told the dental work was not neccesary and I was fine. I guess I should have paid more attention that he is a cosmetic dentist. I guess I see how the top notch equipment is paid for.

After years of painful and scary dental work as a child I am not the best patient in the world. Dr Gudger and his staff have always been caring and kind to me. I have found both Dr. Gudger and his staff to be competent and very nice. He has done an excellent job for me and I am no longer nervous or scared. I would recommend him to anyone for their dental work.

I had not been to the dentist in a long time and have many dental fears, but this office has helped me with SO much!! I did sedation with Dr. Gudger and had such a "painless" experience. The office worked with my financial situation and with my next visit my mouth with be 100% healthy! I will keep going to Dr. Gudgers office for my maintenance and will go with a smile on my face! Thank you Dr. Gudger for being SO caring and having such a beautiful office with beautiful staff inside and out!!!

I have never had a dentist call the night after a appointment just to tell me that it was nice meeting me and to check on me!Talk about quality of care!!Dr. Gudger's office is one of the most high tech dental offices I have ever been to. I got my crown in ONE visit as I had a relaxing paraffin hand treatment and warn towels! Felt like I was in a spa not a dentist office.Friendly service with caring smiles and thank yous out the door. I will be a patient for life!!
