Micro-fracture Knee surgery lead me to Sound PT. Knowledgeable staff that educates and works with your specific recovery. Somewhat laid back atmosphere (airy at times)
The front desk is a little hectic and parking in the upper parking lot is difficult during the hours of 12-1 but the good news is there is additional parking below and it's (free)
My only issue was with billing since I was an L&I claim the notes were taken and the Surgeon notes were present for the final billing. I was shocked they billed me "personally" I was surprised to receive a bill and immediately contacted Sound PT my PT person called me back to tell me it was my responsibility to get the billed paid. I feel that had they reviewed my chart and contacted me the "bill" issue could have been rectified verbally- I felt a little slided by Sound PT'S lack of effort to communicate follow through to the L&I Rep. to getting their billing dept. on the same page.Putting the patient in the hot seat and sending me the bill after they already sent it through to my private insurance was a red flag. Now in my hands to deal with which I was informed it is illegal to bill a patient that is on an L&I claim. After reviewing these issues and contacting L&I for the third time and giving Sound Physical Therapy the same information I had given them 3 weeks prior.. and heard nothing from them but received a pay now bill...they called me to inform me the claims adjuster accepted the bill "for this one time" Not sure what her point in telling me that was.. I don't intend going back anytime soon to Sound Physical Therapy. I felt as though the therapist did not want to acknowledge their responsibility on behalf of the ordeal. Overall-Treatment was good. Front desk- ok
Billing and communication from therapist to Accountant needs work. My advice if you are on L&I and choose to go here...stay on top of your billing-Dr.notes and L&I notes you don't want to get a bill in the mail unexpectedly...
