Dr. Cioffi has been my primary dentist for 20+ years begining when he was a CDR. in the US Navy. After he left the Navy and started private practice I selected him because of his skills/knowledge and leading edge equipment, outstanding professionalism and no non-sense approach to dental care. He and his entire staff have ALWAYS treated me with respect and appreciation for my business and are truly sensative to my special medical and finacial needs. I find their billing practices to be fair, and prices to be competitive with other dentists and in some cases less expensive. His office staff always goes out of their way to help me coordinate payments using the VA fee basis office as well which is OUTSTANDING. You will be hard pressed to find a Dr. or staff that out perform the quality and services offered by this TOP NOTCH team.

I will try and keep this short and sweet. It seems this dentist doesn't know or if he does even cares how his practice is run by his office personnel. Can you imagine that you have an appointment and on that same day you get a call saying that " all payment must be paid in full before we will put your permanent crown on". The office manager also stated " that at least I gave you the courtesy of calling you before you came in". As far as I'm concerned, that's putting dollars before care. I'm no dead beat and I pay all bills that I owe, but if I ask for an explanation of how they came to these charges I will not allow anyone to speak to me as if I'm stupid. To make matters worse, I was hung up on twice by two different people. I was not rude or loud, but conducted myself as a professional business man that I am. When I called back a third time, they would not answer so I left them a message that this is not the way to resolve this and that I will not go away. Upon further review of the explanation of benefits and a statement from their office their accounting and or business practices are questionable at best. I was also told that they would not let me speak to the Dr. and that they would not give him my message. They make all the decisions. I questioned whose name was on the door. I was referred to this dentist by a peer of his who is one of the most passionate and caring oral surgeon's I have ever met, but this experience so far not only has left a hole in my mouth, but also has left a very sour taste.

All three of my family members feels completely at ease with Dr Cioffi and his staff. They took the time to meet us when we were looking for a new dentist and gave us a thorough tour of their facility. When required, we have been referred to specialists with great success and have been nothing but satisfied with the service.

He, tried and tried and tried to pull a tooth that needed to be removed by an oral surgeon and I did not know this at the time, I kid you not after 2 long hours and tons of sweat and pain he sent me home with a referral to go see an oral surgeon, I was so sick from the pulling and tugging, digging and my tooth splattering all in my mouth that when I got outside of his building I got sick to my stomach, I kid you not the next day my face was swollen and bruised from the roughness he used trying to get the tooth out, it was almost in the front of my mouth it was not like it was a wisdom tooth, after I got over the fright and pain I went to an oral surgeon which i still was scared and I never did anything for almost two yrs, I go to a new Wonderful dentist, Dr. Strickland on Confederate Point rd and he brings it to my attention about having the piece of tooth removed when I'm ready to get it done, and not to wait for it to start hurting, and he also finds a foreign object in my mouth probably a surgical file of some sort, and now I do not know what to do, the tooth doesn't bother me and I am just to chicken to go to an oral surgeon and have it removed. Just take my advice do not go to this dentist!
